Lovely lodge, very clean and well maintained. Laid out well inside with everything you would need in the kitchen. Nice site with easy access to Bassenthwait lake and beautiful surroundings on all sides. Easy to get to most places around the Lakes, just off the A66. Would recommend and planning to go back.

The lodge we stayed in was fabulous it was very clean both inside and out, catered for every home comfort, the view was breathtaking and watching the stars on our last night was just amazing I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing, chilling holiday, just watching the butterflies alone was one of the most relaxing things I have ever done

We had an amazing weekend at this property. Great loaction. A short walk to the lake. We paddle boarded most days.15/20mins drive to keswick. Plenty to do and see within 30mins of the property.

Just got back from a 3 night stay the lodge was amazing very homely and clean with plenty of space it had every thing you needed. Beds was very comfortable. And the views from the lodge was amazing would definitely return. 5*

Nice tidy site great views from lodge and lodge also very clean and well decorated. Bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival. Couldn’t get the full experience due to very bad weather raining and strong winds all week. Would have loved to have chilled out on the deck overlooking the lake. But nice relaxing stay.

The lodge is lovely. Very clean and very well stocked. The owners have thought of everything. I’ve stayed in lots of lodges and this is without doubt the best we’ve had. They even had hair dryer and straighteners. Games, books DVD’s and every kitchen utensil you could think of. Lovely view of the lake, dog friendly and Mac enjoyed it too. There’s no washing machine which wasn’t an issue for us as we just had a weekend break but may be a problem if your there for a week and walking in mud etc. loads of nice areas to walk the dog around the site. Will deffo be back. Thanks for the wine and biscuits (left as a welcome gift)

Excellent location for us, lakeside . Views of lake and mountains. Very Quiet, clean site. Well off the beaten track. No shops nearby but not a problem for us. We have been here previously and hope to return. The Lodge was well furnished and comfortable.

Clean tidy lodge on a very peaceful site. Lovely view of Bassenthwaite Lake from the lodge. We had nice weather and enjoyed sitting on the patio area in the evening enjoying the sun.

Good location for swimming in the lakes (bassentwaite lake ar the base of lodges(1 _2 mins walk) . Brought our dog, great walks for him locally. Accommodation very clean on arrival, lovely showers. Recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, despite the heatwave. The lodge was clean and comfortable and its location on the east side of Bassenthwaite Lake is ideal for access to great walks and good eateries. The lodges are somewhat close together, but that's the only negative. Great holiday

We had such a great time we did not want to leave. Perfect location ,stunning scenery, quiet and perfect for swimming, walks and runs from the front door. Spacious and well equipped Lodge. Large TV and plenty of DVDs. We would love to return.

Beautiful peaceful lodge site with stunning views from the decking. I submitted one very minor query re one of the patio doors on arrival via messaging to the owner and he got back to me within 5 mins. Great response. Weather was wonderful which made our stay alm the better. Woul definitely return.

Lost count of how many times we’ve stayed at this fabulous lodge. All the comfort we could wish for in a beautiful location. Dog loved chilling on the terrace and swimming in the lake!

This is the 3rd time we have visited BLL but the first time in this particular lodge. The space in the kitchen/diner/lounge area was fantastic, with great kitchen facilities, good seating areas, a decent-sized TV and some lovely throws. The bedrooms were both a nice size and the shower in the en-suite to the double bedroom really spacious with good water pressure. The balcony was very large, plenty of space to store equipment and seating to enjoy the simply amazing view. We really enjoy the lake for SUP and open water swimming, it is so peaceful with amazing landscapes to enjoy whilst out on the water. Good walking, both from the lodge and a short drive away. We even had a trip to the Undersca spa, just a 10 minute drive away, for a bit of pampering this time round. A really lovely lodge at the top of the park (convenient for the laundrette), would recommend.

3rd time I have stayed here. I have just booked my fourth. Says it all really. I just love it. Very quiet, off the beaten track. The views are amazing. The lodge is well equipt and very comfortable.

Stayed at this lodge 8th to 11th April and had a lovely relaxing stay. The lodge is situated on a peaceful site yet only a short drive away from Keswick. The lodge is well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the lodge over looking the lake is also breathtaking!
