So you have the choice of eating out or bringing the best of the Southern Highlands to you to enjoy in your home for the weekend. The owners will happily recommend local favourites. The main house has both gas fire place and reverse cycle air conditioning to ensure that you enjoy the comfort in the house either in winter or summer. The studio also has reversed cycle air cond. Gently tucked away down a long private driveway, this ‘Hamptons style’ home is family friendly, with large flat lawns perfect for kids to run about on (with easy supervision through the large kitchen windows!). The owners are so easy to communicate with and the instructions they left out were very easy to follow. The location of the house was also only 5mins away from the CBD and the house itself was stunning and perfect. We used this place as a "wedding getting ready home", but my whole family can't wait to come back soon just to holiday.

We had high expectations of Bowral Escape and the property exceeded all of them. The house and grounds are beautiful, the rooms cozy and the kitchen well stocked for cooking for large groups. We had 8 adults and an infant and always felt there was more than enough space. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful home for a group of 6 life time friends. House was immaculate, had loads of appliance and a lovely open kitchen. Lost of places to sit, relax and be together or on your own. Kathleen was a great host.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is lush with greenery so it feels completely secluded. There's a number of living spaces so every get-together feels fresh. The kitchen is well-stocked. There's internet and a TV for movie night. And it's just a few minutes from the town if you need a quick Woolies trip.

This property was perfect for our group of 10, secluded but had everything we needed. The kitchen was perfect for catering for a big group (huge oven!) and the living spaces were cosy without being cramped. Can't recommend highly enough for a trip out of town, Kathleen was an excellent host who was always on hand to answer questions regarding the property and amenities. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful weekend staying here. We, the parents in our adult family group, stayed in the cute cottage next to the main house. Apart from the temporarily stuck sliding door to en-suite it was great. Very comfy beds. Lovely decor. Warm and cosy in main house with gas fire. Unfortunately no fire guard so we did not use much, to ensure 16 month old did not touch fire. The wisteria in front pergola was in full bloom, making a very relaxing spot to sit and take in the pretty garden. Thank you to our host for providing this incredible property.

We had a great stay at this property. We went with 7 adults, an 8 year old, a toddler and a baby. We found the property very spacious for us all and we never felt cramped. The front garden is just stunning and the kids had a great time spending time playing an exploring. They loved the tree swing and my toddler loved the little red wagon. The kitchen was well stocked with things you need but forget like glad wrap and dish washing liquid. The coffee machine was good too. The bathroom had a bath which was also great for kids. It was very close to the main street of bowral (we actually walked from the house to the main street) Kathleen always wrote back to enquiries quickly and check in was easy. Would love to go again.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend as the bride's/bridesmaid's prep house. The house is really large and heaps of room - the glass conservatory was perfect for doing our makeup, and still heaps of room for the hairdresser in the living area, and additional wedding prep activities in the lounge room! Lovely gardens for photos. The house was exactly what we needed and the host allowed for very late check out on the Sunday which made the weekend absolutely perfect. Everything is perfect for a large group.

The house was perfect for a large gathering and all the guests commented on how great the spaces and furnishings were. It’s also literally 5 mins drive to Bowral town centre to very handy to shops, restaurants and cafes.
