Mafalda was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond any expectations we had at arrival. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended her place to others!

Mafalda's apartment was perfect for our three nights in Rome. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms gave everyone their own space. The apartment is very close to the Cipro metro stop, which made moving around the city very easy. Mafalda was at the apartment to explain everything to us at check-in. Would definitely recommend staying with Mafalda.

My recent stay at the VRBO apartment in Rome was fantastic! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything about our experience was top-notch. I cannot recommend this apartment enough for its cleanliness, convenient location, and overall safety. Upon entering, we were greeted with a fresh and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we appreciated the cleanliness that made our stay so comfortable. The location of the apartment was incredibly convenient. Situated in the heart of Rome, we found ourselves within walking distance of public transportation options, making it easy for us to explore. It was the perfect base for our adventures in Rome. The building was secure, with controlled access, ensuring that only authorized individuals could enter. We felt completely at ease knowing that our belongings were safe while we were out exploring the city. Mafalda was communicative and responsive, answering any questions we had promptly. Upon arrival, she provided us with valuable information about the local area, including recommendations for restaurants, shops, and attractions. Her warm welcome made us feel right at home. In conclusion, our stay at this VRBO apartment in Rome was an absolute delight. The cleanliness, convenient location, and overall safety made it an exceptional choice. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome and looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

This was a great place to stay. It was clean with beautiful high ceilings and lots of space for our family (including two boys in their 20s). Having two nice bathrooms was also a bonus. It was an older building, but it was very well maintained. It was in behind the Vatican and a Metro stop was just around the corner. Lots of restaurants and cafes. This is in what I'd call the "newer" part of the city so it wasn't walkable to some of older tourist attractions. But with that said, the metro makes it easy to get there. It is close to Bonci Pizza (Netflix, Chef's Table favorite for Rome) and we enjoyed that one night for dinner. Our host Mafalda was great and we all loved the apartment.

Mafalda was so helpful and kind . We are a family of 5 and were all enjoyed our stay . Walking distance from Vatican , metro ride to coliseum Steps away from all needs , food , drinks , etc Hopefully get to stay here again one day

Mrs. Rossi was so very nice. The apartment was clean and spacious. It was convenient to the subway. And excellent restaurants.

We stayed here in 2015, and recommended to friends who stayed here in 2019. It is still a great apartment for visiting Rome! Mafalda does a great job of providing a clean and comfortable place that is convenient to the Vatican and the Cipro metro for trips to other parts of the city. The beds are comfortable, the living space provides an area to relax after a long day of sightseeing, and the kitchen is well-stocked to self-cater if you want (but we have too many favorite restaurants to do that!). Mafalda was very thoughtful in providing a map of essentials in the area - tobacconists, groceries, banks, taxi stand, etc. and loads of other tourist information if you want it. She was also on time for check-in and check-out. Our party of 4 was very happy to stay here once again and we highly recommend it for your family as well.

The pictures on the VRBO site do not do this place justice. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean and a fantastic location. Mafalda is so fantastic. She treats you like family. As soon as you meet her you are drawn to her. She has a beautiful spirit and a big heart. Next time I go back I'm staying longer. 5 stars is not enough. Grazie Mafalda. Location is great as is so close to subway which made it easy to go anywhere in Rome. As has been previously stated the welcome is fantastic, lots of very useful info and the apartment is located next to many eateries and 2 grocery stores Spotless, comfortable, and lovly hosts

Easy access to the train. Exactly what we expected. 5 out of 5! We spent the New Year and it was a bit loud, but that’s the way the Italians celebrate. Hope to make it back.

Our host Mafalda and hubby made us very welcome and provided lots of tourist info and a tour of the very clean apt and directions how to use everything. There were basic items in the fridge and a basket of bakery items. She even made arrangements for our taxi to leave when I couldn’t communicate with the taxi service.

This home is so so so very lovely! It was close to the Metro, walking distance to everything! Truly perfect! Mafalda and Tinino are exceptional hosts and we would recommend them 100%

Amazing, quaint little apartment half a mile from the Vatican Museum. I could not have been more pleased about the location in this area that we stayed in.

The host was marvelous. She was communicative and helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is in a residential area so there is the prevalent graffiti but we never felt it wasn't safe. It's close to the metro stop so getting into the city for sightseeing was never difficult. Would happily stay there again.

I wish I could give more than fives! Mafalda was the best hostess ever!! Had a map of grocery stores, pharmacy, Metro stops, etc. The apartment was clean, cool, comfortable, and quiet with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Location was the BEST!! Close to a metro station, a short walk to the Vatican. There were even blackout blinds that helped us sleep comfortably all night to get over jet lag! We left feeling refreshed and ready for more adventures.

Mafalda is a jewel who patiently awaited our delayed flight schedule to meet us with the most detailed maps ever. Although we have traveled to many European destinations, I have never been so well oriented to our neighborhood immediately; in this case, Mafalda's hand-drawn map left no question as to our whereabouts. I never felt lost or disoriented, but rather that we actually lived in a Roman neighborhood for a week--what a privilege! The dishwasher, clothes washer, and AC are especially nice. If you do not want to take the (VERY close) Metro, the FREE NOW (mytaxi) is much better than Uber. If we are ever fortunate enough to visit Rome again, I can only hope to stay in this apartment.

Mafalda is very nice and makes everything possible to facilitate the stay. The flat is idealy located near the tube station "cipro". I warmly recommand this flat for a stay in Rome.

Mafalda's place makes for a very nice stay in Rome. She is a great host and even met us at the Metro station to show us to her place. The place is large, clean, and well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The location may not be for everyone as it is out on the opposite side of the Vatican away from all the tourist areas in the city. However, the advantages are it is a short walk to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's. There is a Metro station literally 3 minutes walk around the corner that will take you to the city sights in about 10 minutes and the Metro runs very frequently so you will not be waiting long for a train. Also, the neighborhood is more of a residential area in Rome and not a tourist area. The advantage of this is lower prices, and plenty of good local restaurants within walking distance. There is also a full Supermarket a block away that is open 24 hours a day. Mafalda was nice to have a nice map made out of the area to point out the Supermarkets, eateries, ATM,, Taxi stand and Metro Station. We would recommend staying here if you don't feel the need to be in the center of everything. This would be an especially good place for a family stay.

This is a very good and comfortable apartment and everything were in top and Mafalda and Tonino are very kindly and helpful hosts.

This was an exceptional property. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Minutes from the metro station so we could travel to all Rome attractions very easily. Mafalda was a lovely host who made us so welcome and even left us coffee tea and snacks. She provided lots of useful information on restaurants travel etc. Highly recommend this property. Very traditional. A taste of Rome.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Mafalda communicated with me every step of the way and gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival. They had maps ready for us and took the time to show us how to get to the various sites we were visiting. They also left a bottle of champagne and cake as a welcome gift. The apartment was well appointed with a full kitchen, WiFi, Smart TV, black out blinds and walking distance to the metro station and Vatican City. The only downside was some noise by neighbors and being woken up very early by the trash trucks down below. Overall, I highly recommend and would stay here again.
