Great location near Omiya Station. The room was clean, the staff were very welcoming, and the facilities were excellent. There is also a washing machine for ¥400 and a dryer for ¥100.
The room was really very small.

Shijo-omiya is a great location. Essentially walking distance to everything and on many direct transport routes for further journeys.

Location is great, very complete set of amenities, comfortable room and bed.
Room was dirty when I arrived , particularly the bathroom. There were many hairs all over, it was gross. Then their policy is that cleaning only happens every 3 or 5 days, which means I wouldn't get a cleaning at all. So I complained to reception and they said they would come thr next day. Well, apparently they did but the bathroom was in the exact same condition. They were surprised, they claimed they had cleaned, so apparently their standards are really low. And after a month in Japan I can now tell you this is not normal!!!
