Beautiful heritage cottage with lots of space. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities. Lovely verandah to read or enjoy a beverage on. Close walk to town centre past kangaroo sanctuary. A lovely calm spot to unwind after a frantic year (super comfy bed in master bedroom too!). Thanks Sue and Brian for a lovely stay. NB quite a few places in town shut between Xmas and New Year including Forest Heritage centre and 2 x cafes, and railway only runs on weekends, but plenty of nature based activities including Lane Poole reserve nearby. Bike park in town kept kids active too.

Cute little cottage that is extremely well equipped for a short stay. Loved sitting out on the front verandah with my morning coffee, watching the birds in the bird baths. Great location, clean and comfortable, and communication with the hosts was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the old timber workers cottage that has been restored lovingly and authentically, down to retaining the old concrete base of the dunny! Everything was provided for the convenience and comfort of guests, including pantry items excessive to needs. The cottage was immaculate, the beds clean and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots, glasses etc. The cottage setting was close to town centre yet quiet and peaceful. Pleasant garden with ample bird life. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Thank you for the use of your holiday home Sue and Brian.

The cottage was just perfect. Sue and Brian have equipped it very well, and we really appreciated the little touches like having some kitchen basics and things like kitchen foil available without having to bring it all with us! Everything is well maintained, the beds are comfy and so on. We will likely stay again!

A delightful cottage nestled in a pretty flower-filled garden and surrounded by other weatherboard cottages, this was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The owners have gone to great lengths to anticipate our every need - from firewood and kindling to comfy cushion-filled cane chairs for resting on the peaceful verandah with a cuppa. Birdsong is the only sound in this quiet street and all the gardens nearby were bursting with spring bulbs - a beautiful sight. We loved our stay here and would recommend it highly.
