About this cottage rental
House small cottage with its approximately 80 m² living space was furnished 2015th The house's orientation is functional. It has a living room, a kitchen and a separate bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is located at the stairwell and is thus not a room to himself. Small cottage located together with the main building of this small horse farm on the peninsula. There is no through traffic. All around are meadows, horses and dogs live on the farm and there are 1-2 more houses to. A rowing boat which you can rent a motor located at about 100 meters at the bridge. Large Nätaren lake belongs to an attractive and large sea area that is coherent, partly through a small charming canal. For May-July you can buy a fishing license with the landlord for Stora Nätaren and fish in the lake. In the remaining time is fishing in the surrounding nearby lakes possible.
Excursions: There are many possibilities for day trip. The city of Jonkoping with interesting museums and sights, Gränna on Vättern, the John Bauer village not to mention the Baltic Sea coast with its archipelago and Astrid Lindgren's World, and Katthult and Noisy. A trip to the Kingdom of Crystal is also not far. Good opportunities for canoeing on the contiguous area of lakes and Ören Bunn. Canoe rentals can be found in Bunn (19 km). Guided horseback riding on Icelandic horses offered near Aneby (11 km), even by horse and carriage. An excellent golf course can be found in Vireda (20 km). Maps of the area, as well as brochures on area attractions are in the house.

The house is older, with single-pane glass windows, old wooden plank floors, and so on. It looks charming (my children compared it to the house where Petterson and Findus live), with a nice porch and its own bit of yard. The kids loved the beds in their room.
The hosts and parents live close by and are very friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect for families with children, as it is not too secluded: The area offers lots of open space to roam free and there were animals close by. The entry to the lake is very shallow and perfect for kids just learning to swim. The chance to get out on a boat is great! Otherwise, the area is great for collecting blueberries and mushroom hunting. We had a great time and would recommend it.
(Be aware that the location is rather remote. Therefore, there is little to do when it is raining that doesn't involve a 30-minute drive. It was OK for us and we liked it, but it might pose some challenges for kids that easily get travel sickness.)

Ein naturnahes Objekt, hübsches Haus, ein See mit klarem Wasser zum Baden, Entspannen und Boot fahren. Im Haus selbst ist es gemütlich, die Einrichtung ist ansprechend.

We spent our holidays with the kids there and enjoyed it very much.
The house was perfectly clean and has everything you need to spent a relaxing time there.
The location can’t give you more real Sweden experience. You’re far away from stressful life in the middle of a beautiful nature.
The lake is perfectly for fishing and the owner family super friendly and very supportive.
We would definitely recommend the house for a Sweden summer holiday.
