A little tucked away from the main area of Kandy, but we still enjoyed our stay. The views from the shared balcony were definitely a highlight and were absolutely stunning.
There is a shared kitchen area with fridges, as there isn’t one in the room. We personally didn’t use the kitchen or have breakfast at the property, so can’t comment on those.
The room itself was comfortable, with a good bed and brilliant AC. The host was also helpful and provided me with a hairdryer when I asked.
Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay with beautiful views.
The road up to the property is very steep and unlit, so it can be a little difficult to access, particularly after dark. The entrance also isn’t very clearly marked, and on arrival you need to message the host to open the door for you. This is only needed the first time, however.
There are also quite a few steps within the building itself, so it’s worth keeping in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.
The bathroom is a little dated, and unfortunately the handheld shower head wasn’t working, so we had to use the rain shower instead — which, for anyone who doesn’t wash their hair every day, will understand the struggle!
None of these were major issues for us, but they are worth being aware of when booking.

Beautiful location on edge of jungle area with lovely views of hills.
Very clean and comfortable.
Kitchen area for own catering was helpful for breakfasts.

Slightly removed from Kandy so we had a little walk.

Staff was pleasant. The room was reasonably good in size.
It looks like a dump from the outside. You have yo go through garage doors to go in the hotel. The hotel has 4 floors, without a lift. In order to reach the hotel in the evening, you have yo ho through a unlit allowance.
