The location is amazing, the staff very friendly and the appartment very well decorated we could go everywhere quite fast thanks to the closeby boat station.

Very small but comfortable apartment. Lounge and terrace were a good size but two of the bedrooms and the bathroom were tiny. It’s not in the main palace but an our building. Needs some attention as it was a little tired and the toilet seat was hanging off, doors didn’t shut properly and light switches for the bedrooms were outside the rooms which was odd. No curtains as such in the large bedroom, just two decorative panels which covered half the windows. A washing machine was advised but it’s not in the apartment but within the derelict part of the palace building and hard to find at night as there were no lights on and switches were hard to find. It’s housed in a cupboard where you have to jump over a metre high board to use the machine! Very odd and a health and safety issue, surely? The tumble drier was broken and no airing rack was provided so we had to hang washing on the chairs. The big issue was when we were struggling to find the machine at night the manager came out and got very aggressive about us looking, told me he’d already shown me and accused me of being drunk! I certainly wasn’t. Very strange and incredibly unsettling.
