Seven 60+year old ski buddies on our annual ski trip.
The views from the deck were incredible and the location was very convenient to Schweitzer ski area and shopping.
We had no issues with the property and the property manager quickly responded to the few questions we had.

This place was exactly what we hoped for. Reasonably spacious with 10 people, comfortable beds and well stocked. About 30 minutes to the top of Schweitzer. Epic views right on the lake, couldn’t have been happier with the place!

Lakefront Sagle House was a delight. Spacious with fully equipped kitchen and beautifull lake views! Hot tub was a bonus!

We had a wonderful time at this property during our family/friend vacation. We had three couples with their children staying here during our stay and there was plenty of room for all of us and so much to do. We spent most of our time down at the cute little beach and swimming in the water. We even left some of our beach toys there for the next people coming in. We had kids ranging from 3 years old to 6years old and they had an absolute blast. We appreciated the hosts had life vests for adults available and paddle boards. We also loved there was a fridge in the garage that we used for beverages and tons of different dishes, pots, pans and utensils. They also had a wide variety of spices for us to use which was great because we ate every meal at the house since we had quite a few kiddos. The view from the porch is breathtaking and there was so much space for the kids to play around. The town of Sandpoint is also very close by which made it easy to pop out to grab groceries when we ran low on the stuff. If we didn’t have small kiddos we probably would have loved to spend some time in Sandpoint. They had some cute shops and restaurants. We also rented a boat at a nearby marina so everything is in very close driving distance from the property.
The few things that were a bummer for us was the really late check in time of 5pm and the very early check out time of 10am. We basically lost a whole day of our vacation because of it. We understand it’s a big house that needs to be cleaned but it’s something to be aware of if you book this property. Also, when we arrived the garbage cans outside were already full so we had to keep our bags in the garage and after trash pick up we basically refilled them again with our trash so I’m not sure what the people after us had to do. The hot tub was also pretty unclean so we never used it. It was really hot out so that wasn’t a big problem but if it was cooler out we would have been bummed.
Overall, we had an amazing time and we wished we could have stayed another night. I would definitely recommend this property.

We had a great time the only downside was the other rental at this location. When we arrived they were using our parking spots, I asked them and they said they knew nothing about the parking . Also we share the hottub with them and they dad broken glass and not cleaned it up.

Would love to come again. Heating in the winter was a little slow, originally built for summer use? Worth the slight discomfort of being cold for a bit, the house did warm up. Cannot beat the view.

This house was better in person even than the pictures! I have never been in a house with a layout like this and it was done really well! It was a fun place to stay in, which was mostly what we did, rather than traveling around. The view was amazing and there were plenty of large windows to take it in!

The house is in a great location and housed all 4 couples comfortably. It had everything we needed for a fun stress free weekend. I bet this place is absolutely beautiful in the summer. Would love to brings the kids back for the lake experience!

We had a great time here! We do a dinner getaway every year with my adult kids, spouses and the grandkids! The home itself was perfect! A room for each couple and extra beds for the littles. The kitchen was well stocked with everyday cookware items and some spices. Only thing to note is that the stair rail and rail around the upstairs is definitely not to code as far as picket spacing! Our little grandson could fit his head through the pickets. We ended up just blocking the stairs off to keep him out. My suggestion would be that the homeowner provide a child gate, but it wasn’t anything that caused us much trouble.The sandy beach area was awesome for spending the day by the lake and had plenty of chairs and sand toys for the kids. There are two nearby restaurants that we ordered takeout from and the food was great! We had a crazy windstorm that came in and we lost power for the last 24 hours we were there. (This made our clean up for check out a bit more challenging as we couldn’t run the dishwasher or vacuum like we wanted to.) The windstorm added to the adventure!Carolyn, the property manager was great about responding to questions! We would definitely consider this place for a future vacation!

We surprised our kids to a ski trip on Schweitzer Mountain. This was a perfect house for our stay. We would love to come back in the summer and play on the lake.

Great home for ski trip!
Easy rental process. The communication was good. We had a very nice time with our whole family. The home was well stocked and had all the room we needed for my 3 adult children and grandchildren. The location was easy in and out! The fire was warm and cozy. Wish checkin time was a little earlier. Upstairs could be a little chilly if you don’t leave the doors open. It is a place we would like to visit again.

Great Property on the lake and close to everything!
Stayed 3 nights and went skiing and sledding. Great lake location and close to Sandpoint. Home was clean and organized. tons of space and great WIFI. 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and we had plenty of space for our two families.
