The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the centre of the main waterfront, and with fantastic views over the ocean from the balcony. While it’s not a typical ‘beachfront’ properly, it was amazing to be able to grab towels (and chairs/umbrellas if desired) from the hotel and walk straight out onto the beach for a quick dip.
The rooms are very comfortable and modern, and the bathroom was quite spacious. Breakfast was pretty good too and with amazing views over the town/ocean. The younger woman on reception was also super friendly and helpful.
The free parking was just behind the hotel and very simple to access.
Just be aware that the air conditioning automatically turns off when you open the balcony door and takes a few minutes to come back on once you close it. We completely understand why this is done and have experienced it in other parts of the world, but it did mean we perhaps used the balcony a bit less in an effort to keep the room cool in the very hot summer. I’d suggest there should a bit of a delay on the mechanism so that you can still briefly open and close the door without deactivating the aircon.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Veizi and would warmly recommend it, especially for families with young children.
The family running the hotel was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The woman at the reception desk, who I believe was the daughter, was particularly kind and helpful. Even before our arrival, they went out of their way to help us arrange a taxi, and throughout our stay they genuinely did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
The hotel itself was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed, with regular cleaning during our stay. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the beachfront promenade, making it easy to enjoy everything Himarë has to offer.
Breakfast was served on the beautiful rooftop terrace, with a wonderful view of the sea – such a lovely way to start the day.
A beautiful place, wonderful hospitality and a perfect location. A heartfelt recommendation from our family. We will definitely be coming back! ❤️

Our stay was ok overall. The owners' parents were gentle and kind, and we appreciated their hospitality. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was good, and the beach-view setting provided a nice atmosphere to start the day. But still there is room for improvement in many areas considering the price they charged.
One of the main disappointments was the room. We booked a "mountain view" apartment, but the view was actually of nearby buildings located very close to the hotel, offering little privacy and no meaningful mountain view. When we raised this concern, the receptionist was not particularly helpful and simply stated that Booking did not provide another classification option for apartments facing the internal patio and that we had received exactly what we had booked. No effort was made to check whether a room on a higher floor was available.
In addition, our room was not cleaned on the first day. When we asked about it, we were told that we had not hung the cleaning sign on the door. However, nobody informed us during check-in that this was required in order to have the room serviced.
The hotel's location is on the main street, which means there is a significant amount of activity, and noise at night. Guests looking for a quiet stay should be aware of this.
Overall, the service felt poor for the price being charged. While some aspects of the stay were satisfactory, customer service and handling of guest concerns fell well below expectations.
