About this condo rental
Located in Edinburgh, this attractive condo for $329 per night is a great option for your next trip. A beautiful, well equipped ground-floor apartment, in a quiet secure residential development, our goal is to make the apartment a home from home, so you can relax and enjoy your break in comfort. Ideal for couples, groups or families who want easy access to the city, plenty of space (120 sq meters) in a peaceful environment. 10 – 15 minutes walk from the east end of Princes Street, with private parking. A short walk to Edinburgh's many attractions, some things to mention, Holyrood Palace, The Parliament, The Castle, The Playhouse Theatre, Botanic Gardens and Princes Street. We are proud to have achieved the Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star Award as well as Category 3 access for residents with mobility issues. We have welcomed many guests with varying requirements over the years. The apartment is the perfect base from which to explore Edinburgh and Scotland. Large, bright, clean, well equipped kitchen, there is a dish washer, washing machine/tumble drier, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker and a Tassimo. You will find a good selection of pots and pans, casserole dishes and oven trays. We supply tea, coffee, sugar, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, washing up powder. Separate dining area, with a table and six chairs. Peaceful lounge, 2 new leather three seater sofas, 3 armchairs, TV, Sky, DVD, WIFI, iPod docking station. Master bedroom, king-size bed, en suite with large shower unit. Two further bedrooms, both with twin single beds. Family bathroom, with large shower unit, sink and toilet. All bed linen and towels provided. 2 Kids cot, a high-chair, pram, plastic bowls, plates tumblers etc available if required. Gas central heating provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere all year round, along with instant and constant hot water. Wheelchair access, stool and suction hand rails available for shower, Parking space, Category 3 access award for guests with mobility issues from the Scottish Tourist Board. Assistance dogs welcome, there is a park to walk a dog one minute away. I am happy to provide a water bowl. There is a magnifying glass. I have details of a mobility shop that hires out scooters, chairs etc as and when required.

Great stay. Edele was absolutely superb. Amenities were awesome, the rental was outstanding. Clean and stocked. Great location, short walk to tram and buses. We have traveled all over the UK and.this is hands.down the best place we have stayed. I simply cannot say enough except truly outstanding.

We had a wonderful time! Edele was fantastic and met us as we arrived. She was really accommodating with equipment for the children. She even allowed a later check out as the property had availability on the day we left which was very kind. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

The host was helpful and provided a lot of great advice and resources before we even arrived. The location was very convenient and the apartment was fantastic! All the amenities that we needed, were open and roomy, thoughtful touches like various maps and local guides to get around. Highly recommend it to others!

The property and host were wonderful. We were personally greeted upon arrival. The apartment was clean and spacious for 6 adults. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere and particularly enjoyed having detailed pages of information and recommendations. A gem!

From the first communication with Edele and through out our 10 day stay she offered my much guidance and help along the way. Unfortunately we never personally met but she offered to organize a taxi when my Uber app did not work, she brought us refreshed towels, instructed us how to use the washer dryer even though there were instructions included and looked into any other concerns we had. The home was lovely and comfortable and most importantly very quiet. We were not in the middle of the action but benefited by getting sleep. Edinburgh is a great compact town so even at the outskirts we were no longer than 30 minutes of pleasant urban walk to our destination. Military Tattoo and Fringe Festival was awesome the the county has the most welcoming and friendly people we have me in all our travels.
The Highlands, Isle of Skye and Lewis and Harris should all be part of trip to make sure you have really experienced the beauty of the country and the people.
Oh, and by the way, I got a note from Edele after we returned home that she was sending some clothes that I left behind. How is that for service!

Plenty of space to spread out for our group of 5 - the youngest being 8 yrs old.
Kitchen was stocked and we were able to make dinners easily, but within walking distance to restaurants and a Tesco Express. Owner greeted us and answered any questions we had.

Great cozy property - ground floor, easy access - plenty of room for 5 people. Walkable to CoCop, pubs, wide range of restaurants. Tram extension is huge plus - 5 min walk to tram stop, easy access from Airport all the way to Leith. Good mix of amenities - very clean. Great communication with owner. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time in Edinburgh and Edele was a great host! The property was better than we expected and very close (15-20 minute walk) to new town/ Royal mile. Shopping for food / cafes and lots of thrifting a short walk away. We would definitely stay with Edele again!!!

After staying at a few other VRBOs in England and Scotland I was pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of this flat. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the owner personally stopped by to make sure we were all set and answer any questions. It was quiet at night and black-out shades on the bedroom windows were much appreciated, too, as we where there near the longest day of the year! It is in walking distance to a main street with lots of good restaurants and bus/tram service.

We needed to be relatively close to the Edinburgh airport as a couple of our group had to fly out early one morning, and we also wanted to be able to walk to the main part of Edinburgh for a day in the city. This apartment is the perfect location for both of those. Since Edele provides parking, we were able to drive in and park at the apartment, but then leave our car there and walk to the city.
Everything was spotlessly clean, and the towels smelled so fresh and clean. We also appreciated that Edele provided shampoo and body wash since it's so challenging to pack those things when flying! A couple in our group appreciated the coffee that was also provided. The beds were so comfortable, and it's such a cute place. The layout allows for some to go to sleep early while others can continue conversations in the living room or kitchen without keeping them awake. Edele provides a wealth of brochures and travel guidance so that you can find many things to do.
This is a spacious apartment with everything we needed. We would have loved to stay longer!

This was a great hub for our quick Edinburgh visit. The layout of the flat made it easy for 3 couples to share the space. Nice and roomy, very clean, well equipped, large shared bath (compared to other UK properties we visited) and great communication with the owner. It’s not fancy, but we didn’t need fancy. Just a great place to rest and refresh while we enjoyed long days of sightseeing.

Everything you want to visit is in walking distance and the property feels off the path and is quiet despite being so close to everything. This property was perfect for our family of four, with beds to spare. The flat was well-appointed and had everything that we needed. We also ended up walking to a lot of restaurants nearby, the location was really great for that. The drive to the Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile was really short. Overall we loved the location the size of the flat, and the luxury of the main bathroom.

Great communication before arrival, exceeded our expectations with organisation of parking spaces for us. The accommodation is modern, clean, plenty of room, well equipped and in a great place, 5 minute walk to Leith Walk, easy access to the city and great bars and restaurants.

We all throughly enjoyed our stay. The location suited our needs with easy access to eating places and Princes St. One of our party has mobility issues and it worked well accessing local buses. Very helpful owner who went above and beyond to assist for MD appt due to pneumonia. Lovely home, 4 retired adults simply enjoyed their stay. If you need a cab, ride the elevator up one floor where you can exit and cabby can easily find the apartment.
