Swimming pools, including "river". Food tasty. Rooms are spacious with a large terrace and a view of the Indian Ocean. Extremly friendly staffs. If you need a lift to Mombasa, shopping or visitting, ask Evans.
Lack of pool bars and alcoholic drinks, however if you do not wish to stay drunk - it is an ideal place to stay and relax before or after safari adventure.

The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. The 2 bedroom apartment was quite spacious and the beds were comfortable with clean beddings. The looooong swimming pool almost reaching the beach was a major highlight! It has direct beach access, and beautiful grounds. On the last day, the hostess was nice to organise staff to sing happy birthday for my daughter.
Customer service certainly needs major improvement. Staff were quick to react instead of listening to requests and explaining things clearly. Miscommunication between their reception, restaurant and security reduced the value of the experience. Some of their buffet food was basic. Sodas were brought from the kitchen in a glass instead of a bottle which risks the drink being tempered with. I was shocked to be told that if someone is not staying at the hotel and wants to eat at the restaurant they must report to reception, be tagged and pay before they can be allowed in. It is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in what is supposed to be a high end beach resort.
