About this house rental
Located on the koala trail and less than 100 metres from the water & boat ramp, Kalara is the perfect house to relax & unwind. Catch the vehicular ferry from Paynesville to Raymond Island and you will immediately feel relaxed. The house offers 3 bedrooms: 2 x Queen rooms & 3rd bedroom with 2 sets of bunks. The living & kitchen area is open plan & the lounge / dining area is on a split level above.
This is the perfect retreat for a couple, a group or a family. Great entertaining deck with BBQ & good sized backyard. Guests can feed the birds & enjoy kangaroos & koalas in the surrounds. This property is clean, comfortable & has a lovely bright and airy feel about it. Everything you need to enjoy your Gippsland Lakes holiday is at Kalara. Pet friendly with a great sized yard. Dogs must be on leash at all times outside the yard as Raymond Island is a sensitive environment

On arrival there were two koalas in the backyard trees. We enjoyed wandering the boardwalk a few metres away and the surrounding area - plenty of nature to appreciate. The house is well appointed and very comfortable, with everything you'll need for preparing meals. I would highly recommend a stay here to refresh the mind and lift the spirits.

Super comfortable property, really well kept and clean. Great location and very welcoming to bring my dog too. So cute to wake up in the mornings to have a koala housing in one of the backyard trees.
The hosts were very welcoming and great communication.
Would definitely come back again.

Property was well appointed and in a great location, lots of beautiful parrots and visits from local wildlife made for an interesting stay. Wood fired heater was great for the winter evenings.
