About this condo rental
Nestled in Sunset Beach, this charming condo for $158 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. 3 minute walk to sunset beach, this cottage is on an acre parcel; away from it all but so close to the warm pacific ocean at world famous sunset beach on Oahu's north shore! It is across the street from sunset beach and the address is on Kam Hwy. The house is not directly on the highway and sits back away from the road so you hear no road noise. (Cottage is on large parcel with main house and is rented separately from the main house-see listing 933050 for the main house). Cottage has all of it's own amenities, including washer/dryer and parking-only thing shared is the driveway! Has a queen bed in the loft and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Not suitable for any more than 2 adults. Kitchen has all necessities EXCEPT for an oven. Has propane grill on the lanai. Fully furnished with all linens, including beach towels and wifi! ** This property only accepts one booking per 30 day period. If a full 30 day hold is not available, we will not be able to rent the home.** This property is a legally established dwelling that is rented for periods of 30 consecutive days or more at any one time “Questions, contact owner.”

This property was so peaceful. The location is two minutes from the shore. We were able to easily walk across the road to the beach and just watch the ocean in the morning and especially the sunset. You can walk to Ted’s Bakery for breakfast. Try pretty much anything on the menu, but do not forget to get a glazer(they put Krispy Kreme to shame).
The property has an outdoor shower around back. There are several fans, but most of the time there was a breeze.
If you’re doing Oahu, stay on the North Shore. Buy your groceries from Costco or Walmart before going over as the closest grocery store is about double on most items.

What a beautiful experience we had. Everything was perfect. Within walking distance of the beach, our friends lived close by, I got to swim with the sharks. The house was so private and secluded from anybody and everybody else in the neighborhood. Thank you for accommodating such a comfortable living space

What a beautiful experience we had. Everything was perfect. Within walking distance of the beach, our friends lived close by, I got to swim with the sharks. Great property and great value. Has everything you’ll need. Host communicates well and check in is easy. Wife and I stayed for 7 days. Great camp if you live simply and just want to enjoy the north shore surf of Hawaii. I would like to return during big wave season!

The property was great. The location was literally across the street from Sunset beach. The property is close to grocery stores and Halieva.
The property provides all of the ammenities needed including kitchen appliances, surfing equipment, and beach chairs. My only negative is the couch needs is old and uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Great location on the north shore. Some other guests have complained about the roosters. Yes there are roosters but this is the country, if you don't like roosters stay at the Turtle Bay or in town.

This property is in a perfect location - across the street from Sunset beach and a block from the Sunrise Shack, where you can get great coffee and smoothies. Grocery stores, food trucks, restaurants, and lots other beautiful beaches are all within a 5-10 minute drive. I highly recommend staying on the N. Shore for a feeling of old Hawaii and a layed-back surfer vibe.

This is one of the most beautiful settings on one of the most beautiful pieces of property, 3 min walk to iconic Sunset Beach!! The house is clean, comfortable, views of the Ocean from the upstairs loft. I would be happy to stay here forever. Enjoy!

Perfect week
Perfect for 2 adults and child. The beach is so close and loved Sunrise Shack! Lots of critters on property- pigs, chickens and geckos which our 9 yr old adored. We enjoyed the outdoor shower! Thanks for sharing your sweet cottage!

Such an amazing property! Very tropical and quant. Next time we would like to bring more and stay in the larger home. Only one suggestion, you should think about buying more fans , if you are worried about the appearance, you could keep them downstairs and have them available for the guests. Or install ceiling fans. But over all, super duper experience!!

Amazing cottage
We had a lovely stay in Cathy’s cottage, it had everything we needed and we loved having bbqs outside on the balcony. It’s right across the road from sunset beach where we saw some amazing sunsets and surf. I would recommend having a car if your staying in this location to explore/go out for dinner although there is a bus stop just out on the road and a lovely Thai food truck 5 minutes down the road! We would stay here again.

Awesome setting with privacy and quick walk to beach
Awesome location set back from the road allowed for privacy while being within a very short walking distance to the beach. The attached main house was not rented during our stay, which helped. Good location on the North Shore within short driving distance of all the North Shore attractions. Clean and cozy, just be prepped for the no A/C. When we go back we will definitely try to get this location again!

Quick walk to the beach
This property was nice and private, and yet just across the street from beach access.
It is not air conditioned, which wasn't necessarily a problem, but it was nice that fans were provided as it was still very hot and muggy.
The layout is unique. The main living area contains the kitchen, common area, and bathroom and a spiral staircase leads up to the loft bedroom area under a pitched roof. Plenty of space for two, just harder to navigate with the staircase (your luggage never felt so big). Night-lights were provided which made it less daunting after dark.
The property was clean and fit our needs perfectly. Parking was more than adequate. The semi-shared driveway (with the main house) didn't present any issues.
My only suggestion to the property owners would be to try and incorporate another mirror into the design somehow. With only one bathroom, and only one mirror located in that bathroom, getting ready in the morning took a little longer.

The North Shore’s best spots. Connected to main house via walkway, but feels private. Loved the nature surrounding the cottage. Keep in mind there is no AC.
