Close to the stadium and Toby carvery next door for breakfast. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Carpet in the corridor was uneven, almost tripped up the first time I walked down there. Toilet had not been cleaned and both towel and bathmat had marks on them. Hotel looked to be in need of some TLC, but was fine for one night.

No breakfast at this location.i liked the pleasant front desk personnel and the comforter on the bed. The location and orientation of the room overlooking the lake .

Im sorry to have to say this having been responsible for housekeeping in large facilities in America but the overall standard of housekeeping in all common areas is totally unacceptable which really reflects badly on the management and leadership expectations. The beds are not functional in the rooms as though reasonably comfortable they do not function as hotel beds due to Im guessing someone without experience bought a job lot of beds on the cheap. All common areas are badly in need of repainting or at the very least a schedule maintenance program. The bathrooms are very dated and vinyl floor that had been put in the bedroom was obviously done when no one was paying attention to detailed finishes. The corridor carpets should have been replaced many years ago as in three days I can guarantee they didn’t get vacuumed. Im very sure both fescues and dirt are ground in along the corridors at present.as for first impressions there was nowhere to park and the landscape seemed to have been left to chance with discarded bottles and trash as you walked to the front doors.
