Loved meeting people from around the world in the common area, the beautiful architecture and tatami floors. The hosts were amazing and the traditional Japanese breakfasts were delicious.
It's a little out of the way from some of the major attractions, but the neighbourhood has its own charm and buses are close by and regular.

Everything was amazing. The host is really friendly and welcoming. The house itself is amazing, makes you feel like you are in a movie. I will absolutely book this place again!

Everything ! Very quiet traditional guesthouse with exceptionnal and very helpful staff
Nothing about the property - just know that it takes approx 40min by bus to get to some of main touristy area

It is a lovely place to stay in if you want to go to Kyoto ! The staff is very nice, talkative and helpful. The traditional breakfast is totally worth it. Overall, a great experience !
