A lovely old fashioned proper B&B, the likes of which are hard to come by these days in a world swamped by Airbnb. We booked the two attic rooms which are nice and close to eachother. The breakfast was delicious and generous. And the host was lovely, and the rooms comfortable.

It's an old building with lots of charm, but that means that inevitably the ceiling height is low in the attic rooms. Also there is no stand-up shower, only bathtubs with sit-down shower. Minor points!

The rooms in the attic don't have showers but I have no idea how you could practically remedy this.

Very welcoming host , good breakfast , beds were really comfortable

Television is tiny , we stayed as a family of 3 and had to wait a while for water to heat beck up for a bath
