The property was located in a great place next to everything, the apartment has been recently renovated and was in excellent condition. We had a couple of hiccups with a water issue which was fixed. The property is very loud and noisy, it is on a very busy street.

The apartment is perfect for two couples. This apartment is the cleanest VRBO property we have experience this far. Completely outfitted to meet all our needs. The location is perfect for walking to all must see sites, beach, bars and restaurants. We were met at check-in and given great instruction on the apartment and location. My overall 4 star rating was due to the late night noise of the motorcycles zooming up the street (all night). It made it difficult for me to sleep. It is the city and it may be I am just not accustomed to such city noises. Also, the bath towels were very stiff and felt like sand paper on my skin. We did love the apartment and may return to it if back in Malaga but with a soft towel and ear plugs. Thank you Isabel for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment.

Fantastic stay in Malaga. Isabel is the perfect hostess who went above and beyond the call of duty to help my friend and I with baggage delay issues. I very much appreciate it. The apartment itself is also great. It is in the center of the old town and close to everything but far enough from the bars and restaurants that you don't get the noise. We walked everywhere as museums, restaurants, the beach are a few minutes to 30 minute walks. The apartment was immaculate and exactly as described. Malaga is lovely with lots of things to do. I can't wait to come back! Thank you, Isabel, for a great experience.

It felt very safe in the neighborhood. The shower was wonderful - hot water all the time. Comfortable living room. Good communication with owner. She arranged a taxi to take us to and from the apartment. Enjoyed our stay in Malaya.

Overall very happy. Nice place, plenty of room and easy walking to attractions in the city center. The price ended up being higher than first advertised in the listing once fees were added for addition people, late check in, etc. but still worth the price.

Comfortable apartment on a quiet street. Excellent location close to all the action: restaurants, museums, shopping, markets. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions, good communication. Always something interesting and beautiful going on in Malaga. Many lovely restaurants, our favorite is Luz de la Candela and we also loved the neighborhood bars la Peregrina, Olivia and Camerino.

Just as described, in a central location with lots of bars, restaurants and tourist destinations within a very short walk. The apartment was well equipped for our needs and everything worked!

The apartment was just as described in a great location. Very short walk into Malaga, nice walk to the beach and not too far from the train station. The only downside was the building work in the apartment block directly opposite. It is at the construction stage so greeted a few mornings by a cement mixer outside and it was also noisy and we were unable to open the windows because of this. I appreciate this was not the owners fault and out of their control. hopefully it willbe completed over the next few weeks .

Really great stay. Isabel and her husband met us at the apartment and were extremely friendly and informative. The apartment itself was immaculate and in a great location, everything was in walking distance. The only minor issue for us was the heat at night in the bedrooms, it was really warm, and that was September...there is air con in the lounge but not in the bedrooms. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Malaga is a lovely city - would definitely recommend.

We had a great time in Spain and the apartment was very clean and provided everything we could possibly need. Close to the beach as well as stores and things to do.

Great place to stay

La estancia de nuestra familia en este hogar fue una maravilla. Además de ser un apartamento bonito, está perfectamente ubicado en el centro histórico de Málaga: unas cuadras de la casa natal de Picasso, unas más del Museo Interactivo de Música (el cual es excelente para niños), y cerca a todo lo que uno querría ver o visitar, como el castillo árabe de Alcazaba, la playa, los restaurantes, etc. Y, sobre todo, nuestra anfitriona, Isabel, ¡fue la mejor! La comunicación que mantuvo con nosotros antes de, y, entonces, durante nuestro viaje fue muy apreciada. Además, no sólo reservó un taxi para recogernos del aeropuerto al llegar a Málaga, sino que también reservó otro para llevarnos a la estación de trenes cuando llegó el momento de continuar nuestro viaje a Sevilla. En breve, no podríamos haber sido más contentos con nuestra visita, o con Isabel. ¡Un lugar muy recomendable!

The apartment was perfect for our needs for 10 days, everything was clean and well organised. The location was really excellent for all the main museums, sights, beach etc and train and bus station in easy walking distance for trips to Seville, Grenada and Cordoba. Isabel was a fantastic host. Arrival instructions were clear and she gave us some really helpful advice regarding how to get about, best restaurants, festive events etc. All in all we would be very happy to return and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

Lovely apartment, Isabel and her husband very friendly and helpful with information and booking taxi. So many restaurants would highly recommend the Argentinian beef in the marina. Automobile museum was fantastic with info in Spanish and English. Disappointed with the castle and Palace nothing in English. There is also a serious lack of public toilets. So many beautiful places and building to explore.

We loved this apartment and are already planning to return next year. Host was very welcoming, excellent communication before our visit, and kindly booked a taxi for our return to the airport. Apartment was spotless, and well equipped if we had been inclined to cook- however there are so many excellent bars and restaurants nearby that we made cups of tea and didn't use the kitchen for anything else! Two bathrooms were useful and lovely showers. Beds extremely comfortable. As two women travelling for the first time , we felt really safe and secure in both the apartment and the locality. I would definitely recommend and will look forward to returning. We breakfasted at La Recover which was delightful, and also managed to fit in lunch there. Evening tapas at Taperia de Sybaris nearby was super, and we are there twice. The market was a super experience, and the walk up the Alcazaba was well worth it. A super stay.

Isabel was very welcoming and give us a good tour of everything in the apartment. Very clean and well equiped with everything you would need. Also extremely spacious with 2 great sized bedrooms and a very comfy sofa bed. Would recommend and would consider using it again. No lift which was advertised and fine for us but would be difficult if you struggle up stairs, however is on 1st floor so only one flight Great apartment in a great city, thank you Isabel for your kindness on arrival

Lovely, spacious accommodation. Walking distance to every "must see" site. Close to a grocery store and all the restaurants you could need. Highly recommended.

My sister and I really enjoyed staying at the La Merced apartment. It was walking distance to everything - historical sites, Picasso Museum, the port area, main train station, and the best neighborhoods! I highly recommend La Merced, and would like to return! The apartment is beautifully and appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. The wifi works well everywhere except the bedroom behind the kitchen. Lots of tourist resources in the library in the living room. If you like light to wake up, choose the front bedroom. The light will stream in from the living room and the hallway leading to the bathroom. It was very nice for me. If you book here, be sure to visit Bar Miguel for breakfast and coffee. It is around the corner, and just a lively fun, local spot. Very friendly people. Also, La Deriva is not to be missed for dinner. La Pachamama should not be missed for great ceviche, Peruvian style. And head to Chiringuitolafarola at the port, right on the beach, for very tasty and fresh sardines cooked over hot coals. Isabel and her husband are great. You will be very comfortable booking with them.

We enjoyed our stay in Malaga and the surrounding are. The suite was comfortable for four adults. The amenities were good but there is no clothes dryer to accompany the washer so it was not as convenient. On the whole it was a nice stay.
