Located in West Dennis, this lovely house for $1,958 per night is a great choice for your next break. Venture into the heart of Dennis, where a spectacular ocean estate sits with sea breezes blowing and water views circle the property. The only thing you will have this vacation is Time to Relax. Throughout this fully furnished 5 year old house we’d like to dive into each room to highlight the features of them so you can enjoy a magical vacation on cape cod. 1st Floor Kitchen/Living Room/Dining Room This area is on the 1st floor where you will spend most of your time. Our quartz countertop kitchen is very spacious with a large 4 seat island and wet bar off to the side. The kitchen is tied to 2 dining rooms where we have an 8 seat table and a 4 seat table for large families to wine & dine. The living room is made up of nice white sofas and chairs along with a 55” Flat screen Cable TV and built in speakers to enjoy music all throughout the 1st floor. Master Bedroom 1 The only bedroom on the 1st floor is located off the living room and office where we have a King Size Bed, walk in closet and full bath with double headed shower and bench to wash yourself off after a long beach day. This room also has a TV with Cable. Office Nice Office desk with plenty of room to work and enjoy the breeze coming in from the front porch windows. Full Bathroom Located off the kitchen and has a shower Laundry Room Washer & Dryer accessible to all renters and extra linens & Beach & Bath towels are for free to use. 4 Season Porch Located off the living room & back of the house which faces the bass river and west dennis sand bar. Great area to have breakfast or coffee in or watch the sunsets over bass river while playing cards or listening to the birds chirp. Back Porch Has a gas grill & Propane Lobster Pot that is great for barbecuing or cooking clambakes for your entire party. 2nd Floor 3 Bedrooms All 3 bedrooms are fully furnished with queen size bedrooms and full baths. 1 Bathroom has a tubs and the other 2 bathrooms have showers. These bedrooms are great for privacy and rolling out blowup mattresses or pack’n Plays for kids to sleep. We have a Crib and mattress that can be used for any you children. Sitting Room This sitting room has a pull out couch and coffee table that is great to escape the noice of the 1st floor and sit and relax while you enjoy your vacation. 3rd Floor If you’re looking for privacy on your vacation, head up to the third floor, where the Full size pull-out sofa anchors this suite, with a wet bar, beverage fridge & en suite half bathroom. The views of the ocean may be the best in the house from the exterior balcony that has 2 Wicker Lounge Chairs and plenty of space to fit 6 people to enjoy coffee or look out at the ocean views. Great room to have happy hour in and enjoy the breeze from every angle of the room. Room Above Garage The classic beach house room with 3 Full Size Beds and a Full Size bunk bed where 5 or 6 kids can sleep or a full family can escape to. The features of this home continue outside, with an amazing farmers porch with Adirondack chairs, and pristine grass yard await your yard games and summer cocktails. I have listed a vacation home on VRBO, so I understand the standards of how a home should be presented. This rental has a lot of potential. Here are the positives it is a nice, big, new house close to the beach in a nice location. The owner was very responsive when the AC and the water in the master shower were not working.
However, the house was dirty. The bathrooms all had hair on the floors, dirt, mirrors obviously not clean, toothpaste, in the sinks. There is not one proper towel rack in any bathroom and one bathroom does not have a mirror. There are no bath mats, the bath towels were hidden in a closet, not enough for my family and very old. We went out and bought towels. The water in the MBR shower did not work, as mentioned the owner came and fixed that. There was one bathroom with a flickering light that could not be fixed.
Several of the beds were not made and required searching for sheets and trial and error to find ones that fit. I rewashed the sheets as I was not confident that the sheets were clean. The bedside tables in the MBR had months of dirt and pollen on them.
The stove and appliances were all dirty - left over eggs and grease on the griddle, dirty fridge, the ice maker and freezer didn't really work. There were no dish towels and one pot holder and not enough silverware. There were closets and drawers filled with junk. There were sheets and blankets in the dryer.
Similar to a prior review I could go on and on. It would not take a lot to improve this listing, but be aware of what you are getting into. For the price being charged I expected more and certainly anticipated a clean house.

We went to Cape Cod for a family reunion and stayed here with 7 adults, a first grader, and 1.5 year old and a 6 week old. Leading up to our trip the host was very responsive to our questions. We had a great stay, the host was very accommodating, even came by to drop off towels, answer questions and help us with a baby gate. The house was beautiful and was a short walk to the beach. We hosted a pizza party one night for our extended family and had everything we needed in the house to do so. There were not towel racks or waste baskets in the bathrooms and we saw a few carpenter ants here and there but overall no major issues and we had an excellent stay and would definitely come back!

This is a beautiful looking house. However, our experience with this house did not match the listing or the photos.
We arrived and the house had not been professionally cleaned. The counters were cluttered with spices, open condiments, a half used bottle of Pedialyte, loose change, etc. Random toys were left around the house and not put away. The dishwasher was full. Dishes were left in the drying rack. All of the trash cans had trash in them. The beds were messily made, and we were concerned that the sheets had not been washed, so we spent the first two hours re-washing everything. The toilets all had rings in them. We found multiple plastic Easter eggs throughout the house with unwrapped candy still inside.
My impression of the house is that it was built as a spec house and some of the rooms had been furnished by the builder. The new owners have not spent much time filling in the furnishings. All of the upstairs beds had white duvet comforter inserts, with no duvet covers and no throw pillows. There are no bath, hand, or face towels, only old scratchy beach towels. There are only two kitchen towels – both Halloween themed. Some of the bathrooms were missing mirrors.
We had to reboot wifi when we arrived, but it never connected to Sonos.
The house sleeps 12, but there were only 8 plates and they did not match. There were only 6 knives and 7 forks. We had to go out to buy wine glasses, flatware and more plates and cups in order to cook a meal for everyone at the house.
We did grill one night, but there is a lightbulb missing from the back porch and it was almost impossible to see the grill in the dark.
We woke up the first morning and there were ants everywhere in the kitchen, and on the second floor. Ants were in our (food free) luggage and climbing the walls.
The listing stated that a room on the second floor contained 2 queen beds. This was not true. There is 1 king bed on the first floor, 3 rooms each with 1 queen bed on the second floor, 2 pull out couches and a air mattress. One of the pull out couches is very intensely stained.
The sink on the second floor bedroom at the top of the stairs runs at a trickle. It was almost impossible to wash your face.
There is an electrical issue in the kitchen. Lights flickered throughout the weekend. We needed to flip the breaker multiple times in order to run the dishwasher.
I could go on. Overall this house did not come close to meeting our expectations.

We had a nice family gathering over Christmas and enjoyed the house and it's location for walking to the beach which we did a lot of even though it was cold outside. Thanks again!
