This property is an absolute gem in the other banks and our family was so thankful to have found this place. Everything from the cleanliness, location, amenities and charm made our first experience in the outer banks a lifetime of memories!

It’s been 2 weeks since we left the OBX and I’m still pending the return of my deposit for this rental. I’m not sure if this is a VRBO issue or an owner issue, but the issue is not resolved. I’m going to continue to follow up. The owner said we left the house in great shape and we’d be getting the full deposit back. I wanted to leave a review after this was settled, but I only have 14 days to leave a review. So 3 stars since this isn’t resolved. The lease said the deposit would be returned within 7 days. The property itself was very nice. The pool and pool area are great hangout areas. The first floor is great for the pool (bathroom & extra fridge). Beach access is right across the street (ton of stairs to get on/off the beach, but easy access). Bedrooms are a good size . The third floor was a very good size and solid views for a house one street off the beach.

This property is in a great location close to restaurants and stores. The house is lovely and well cared for. We enjoyed the backyard and pool. The one drawback for us was that the beach access is quite a lot of steps to climb with all your gear.

My family and nieces and nephews and their children had a wonderful time at this beautiful home ! It truly was the best in so many ways . We have been staying in Obx for 30+ years and come several times a year therefore stayed in a lot of different homes and we would all say this home was the best … it was so clean , comfortable and accommodating and the owner was great to communicate with . We all really loved this home !! 🥰

The property itself was perfect for us! The upstairs living space was bright, and clean and so comfortable with a lovely view of the water! The house is a perfect location, convenient to the grocery stores and attractions, but mostly super convenient to the beach!! With the beach access directly across the street, we had an easy time setting up our beach days, even with little ones in tow. Perhaps the most exciting feature of this property is the backyard. The pool is clean and beautiful, with a large patio and plenty of lounge chairs and a covered portion. There is even a super wonderful umbrella that we could put up to provide shade over the pool for the babies! We used the pool every day and had several super fun cook outs with the great grill! Throughly enjoyed our stay here!

The house is in the heart of OBX. Loved the pool area and having the beach across the street. Appreciated the welcome pack and the information with things to do, which was perfect for our family. On day 1 we loaded up the week with activities for the kids. Evenings by the pool cooking out complemented by waking to watch the sunrise made for a great vacation. Heated outdoor shower is a plus and the nice outdoor and pool lighting made everything usable after sunset. Overall, great location, property as advertised, and good communication. Recommended.

This was our families second trip to this property and it was just as amazing as last year. The house is so well taken care of and the owner Carole is very friendly and responsive. The location of this property is so close to the beach and the kids loved coming back and playing in the pool. Our family loves to cook and the kitchen is fully stocked to make any dish you can think of. We will definitely be back again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this house! The easy access to the beach was great and returning to the house for a swim in the pool was the best! We enjoyed the ramada and area around the pool for eating dinners and relaxing. As gardeners ourselves we appreciated having flowers and garden plants in the yard to enjoy. The house was beautifully furnished and decorated as well. We would love to return another time.

The only issue is the listing states 2 full baths and it actually has 3 full baths not 2 , even better for larger groups. Everything was comfortable and just like home. The owner was responsive and was quick to answer any questions or concerns. Would highly recommend this property.

The house is well equipped and centrally located (across the street from the beach, a short walk to shops, and a short drive to the grocery store or other attractions). Our experience was positive and the visit pleasant.

A great week with family.

This property and location was exactly what our family and friends needed for the week. So close to everything, mostly the beach and what a treat for our children to have the pool in their backyard. Carole made her home feel like our own. She is so gracious and accommodating. We cannot wait to come back.

My family had a great week! The property was perfect and the kids loved the pool. Great kitchen and family room with plenty of space for all. The garden and gazebo area was beautiful and relaxing. Great beach access just across the street. We rented a cabana and beach chairs for the week, as well as did two sessions of surf lessons with Farmdog Surf School ; and enjoyed some sweets at Booty Treats Ice Cream (both just a short walk down the street). A wonderful vacation house! Thanks to Carole and her family for everything!

The house was everything we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better week, Carole and Lee were more then accomdating and the house was spotless. We can wait to book again.

This home is beautiful and in a great location!! The main living area is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is very well stocked to accommodate large families. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of space to eat, sleep, and hang out. The outdoor area is like no other. The backyard is HUGE and the shaded pavilion is a great way to enjoy being outside without being in the water. The inside of the home is meticulously maintained and very CLEAN! The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, linens, and towels. The location was perfect. The beach is literally across the street. Though the street you cross is "busy" the crosswalk is at the end of the driveway and cars treat them as a stop sign for pedestrians. The street was never an issue. The owners were the best we have experienced anywhere (and we've rented multiple VRBO homes). Before arriving they were very responsive to any inquiry we had. Upon arrival, we were treated like family and felt so welcomed in their home. They go above and beyond to make your stay easy and memorable, and give great suggestions on places to go in the area. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in OBX!!

My family and I loved this home!! It was extremely comfortable for 8 adults and two toddlers. The backyard was breathtaking and so much fun with the pool, grills, hammock, etc. The outdoor shower was beautiful! The house was in a great location right across the street from the beach, around restaurants, etc. The house was also very clean!! Carole was always very quick to answer my questions which was appreciated. We can’t wait to return again next year!

Beautiful home and great pool area. We had a great time! House is well equipped! Owner great to work with. Just be aware that the house is on a busy road If you have little ones.

We spent a week at Nags Head and thoroughly enjoyed Carole’s property. This week was a celebration of our 50th Anniversary with our kids and grandkids. Everything was exactly as advertised and property has had a lot of loving care. The back yard was super for spending time together both in or out of the of the pool. The location was great, close to the beach, restaurants, and other OBX attractions. We would highly recommend this property. Scott & Sylvia June 2019
