Everything was great. We were very nicely welcomed by the owner of the hotel. Very well located. You feel as if you were in a private Japanese home.

Visiting Kanazawa and staying at House Gao was the highlight of my trip. The owner, Yoneda, is a nice and welcoming person and Gao is a very friendly dog that enjoys eating vegetables :) The room was very big, and close to the entry, bathroom and toilet, so it was perfect for me. I also paid the breakfast which was good and enough for the price. The location is perfect if you want to explore Kanazawa by foot. The train station is a 25 min walk or a 15 min bus ride, so it is perfect.
