Access to property is very easy 4 easy steps to front door🐾🐾 The perfect romantic getaway for couples ❤ Children and babies are welcomed at Cat on the hat, and a portable cot and child's bed can be provided upon request, (An additional hire fee is required). Fully self/contained and very private with your own entry Although the studio is part of the main house you have your own private entry and is fully self contained and VERY VERY private Cat On The Hat is a great place to get away and relax surrounded by the peace & ambiance that the beautiful village of Blackheath has to offer. There are two resident pussy cats who live on the property COCO and POPPIE She is a little crazy and will visit if she is in the mood They are a little shy and don't make regular appearances Unlike their predecessors Pepsi and Tia😽 A short stroll from the village center where you can enjoy a drink and meal at one of the two pubs without the worry of driving or parking The town also plays host to an exceptional growers market which takes place once a month, live music , incredible fresh foods to purchase from the many stalls that include tastings and beautiful fresh food to take back to the studio and prepare a lovely meal on your Weber gas bbq At Cat On The Hat you are less than a 5 minute drive to the popular lookouts such as "Govetts Leap", the Hat Hill Road lookouts, such as Pulpit Rock and others. Also very close to Katoomba and Leura If bush walking isn't your thing the local village has a large variety of restaurants & cafes to dine at or just grab a coffee. Gas, Reverse cycle air conditioning, electric heating and electric blankets are available at Cat on the hat to beat our chilly weather. 🔥 Comfortable lounge room, TV with Netflix, docking station for playing your music etc. The bedroom boasts a luxury king size bed So you can enjoy a cat nap or a long restful nap with a chiropractic mattress , and of course an electric blanket for those chilly nights. All quality fresh linen and towels are supplied for your convenience and comfort The bathroom is well appointed walk in shower, hairdryer etc . There is a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, dishwasher and electric oven, Plates, cups, Kettle and toaster and large electric frying pan. You can either eat in the dining room off the kitchenette or open the two glass french doors and walk straight out onto the rear covered sunny deck which has a webber gas bbq. The deck is just perfect for morning coffees, afternoon champagnes and meals at any time of day. * WALKING DISTANCE TO BLACKHEATH RAILWAY STATION* *Ample on and off street parking NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING, NO PETS 1 NIGHT STAYS AVAILABLE MON-THURS NIGHTS (LATE CHECK OUT BY ARRANGEMENT) NO SMOKING INSIDE A $50 cleaning fee will be added if cottage is left messy and untidy

Lots of character and charm. Only real negative was the stayz app itself: 1. Why isn't the street address revealed until much closer to the date? 2. Why does the multi factor authentication only work through email (My provider is really slow - that's another story) 3. The notes to/ from host function doesn't work in the Android app (too many Web redirects error) making it difficult to check for info etc enroute.

Very pleasant set of rooms, especially if you like cats (the theme of the decorations). There's even a private patio with a grill. Location is ~5 minutes walk from downtown cafes and convenient driving distance to lots of Blue Mountains attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Delightful decore with finishing top quality touches- knee rugs, entertaining items with a cat theme, spacious rooms, great heating/ cooling etc. A walk to town or train station, lovely enclosed courtyard. Handy kitchen appliances. Tv can loose connection.Netflix or internet tv wasn’t working for us but we were very happy with this accommodation.

I enjoyed my solo stay at Cat On The Hat. The whole unit is beautifully clean and fitted out, with character touches, the bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. A short walk from Blackheath shops but also wonderfully peaceful.

First time experiencing a cat themed anything and I loved it. It was very querky and fun, loved how cozy it was.. I felt like I never left home. Heating is great, they left lots of notes around in case you were wondering how to use anything which was helpful. Shower pressure was quite nice. Thank you!

Studio was spotless and comfortably furnished. Gas heating very efficient. Cat memorabilia amazing and fun. Studio kitchen and cooking facilities as stated. Quite adequate but a tip is to plan your meals around appliances available. Studio is convenient to village and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended and great value.

Very welcoming; clean; warm; cosy; comfortable bed; blockout curtains; well appointed kitchen; bright, undercover, enclosed deck outside the kitchen. Short walk to village centre but not a very busy location. Perfect for a couple. We very much enjoyed our stay.

As a cat lover, this was the purrfect place to stay. So many fun and quirky cat things as well as an actual cat coming to visit. Very comfortable and close to the main part of Blackheath. Surrounded by beautiful trees. Just lovely and I've already booked for next year's holiday.

This is a lovely spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Blackheath. The studio is at the front of the house rather than a whole house which is not entirely clear from the listing, but that was not a problem at all. The back deck is very private - like a little wonderland, the house very quiet and the front garden delightful. The entire studio is beautifully furnished and super cosy with gorgeous 'cats' in abundance :) The hostesses are very considerate and generous and thought of everything to make this a very special stay - loved the Christmas decorations - a very thoughtful touch as was the lovely bubbles and choccys! My daughter had a wonderful stay - thank you so much!
