About this condo rental
Situated in Llafranc, this lovely condo for $248 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We have CONVERTED our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment into a big open planed kitchen/dinner/lounge and higher the standards with rewiring, LVT flooring and new bathrooms. 3 bedrooms are at the front of the apartment opening on to a long balcony, with the 4th is at the back with an internal window and an on suite toilet/ shower room. There is no aircon but all the bedrooms have ceiling fans. An unlimited supply of hot water and and full gas central heat for winter use. We also have wifi and could be getting fiber optics by the summer! At the back of the apartment is a wonderful South facing terrace which seats 8, with a boiler / laundry room at the end. Just off the lounge a a small terrace ideal for a quite read. Street parking is mainly free apart from a few blue zones . Parking can be a little difficult in August but you will always find somewhere. There is also a paying under ground car park 250m away. The church is close by and you can hear the bells charming. The nearest beach PORT BO (good port) is very safe for children and they will enjoy climbing the rocks and snorkeling. We've got a cot and a highchair so if you've got young children let me know what you need. We provide sheets and towels and we can provide beach towels on request.

Noisy appartement
Locatie t.o.v. strand was fijn en communicatie en inchecken ging perfect. Keuken was nog plakkerig dus die heb ik eerst zelf moeten schoonmaken. Ook badkamers waren niet fris.
Veel geluiden van de bovenburen en de kerkklok om de hoek die 24 uur per dag om het kwartier luidde. Parkeren moest ver weg maar dat kwam door enorme drukte in augustus.

Super Holiday
We had a lovely time in the spacious, comfortable apartment. Everything was just fine. We loved being so close to the beach with two small children in tow. Much fun was had by all especially when the sun came out!

Apartment definitely as described - very spacious.........there were 4 of us, lovely outdoor seating area on terrace, beds very comfortable, great location and central to shops and beach, owner responded quickly to queries and questions, overall we were very pleased with the facilities and would definitely book again, had a very peaceful and relaxed holiday.

Ideally situated, spacious and tastefully decorated apartment
Spacious, and tastefully decorated this beautifully bright and airy apartment is ideally situated for all that the chic little town of Calella de Palafrugell has to offer. A choice of 6 or 7 ‘sandy’ coves, 25-30 restaurants, and a range of shops from trendy little boutiques to local artisan craft outlets are all within a five minute walk of the apartment. If you prefer to cater for yourself the kitchen has every utensil you might need and crockery and glassware galore. With a washing machine, dish washer and microwave it really is home from home! A large covered balcony with table and chairs gives you the option of eating outside. With 2 adults and 4 teenager/20 somethings in our group we were amazed at just how spacious the whole apartment felt for a party of our size! I would highly recommend this apartment (even if that church bell tolls throughout the night - lol)

Perfect location
Apartment was perfectly located, central to everything. No need for car..we walked every where. Beds were super comfortable which is key criteria for us. Glenys was very helpful with everything and kindly offered to collect our daughter from Girona when she arrived on a later flight ensuring we could enjoy time on holiday. All good and would visit again. Callela lovely old town, clean beaches and the restaurants were top quality as long as you love seafood..which we do!

A well situated and comfortable apartment.
The apartment is extremely well situated, nicely decorated and spacious. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace for meals; it easily accommodated the whole party of seven adults. The area is beautiful with good walks, restaurants, sights etc. Plenty to do for a week's stay. Parking was much easier than anticipated.
One or two of us were somewhat affected by the bells, but this was not a great problem at all and very easily fixed by earplugs.
A couple of minor thoughts: the Wi-fi could be a little unpredictable and it would have been nice to have a few more basics such as a few bin liners and some washing up liquid, for example, which would have negated the need to buy these items.
Nevertheless, a successful stay. Thank you.

Beautiful spacious apartment on a perfect location
This is a beautiful and spacious apartment, bright and clean and the location is excellent. Gorgeous rooms, comfy beds with 3 different balconys so you could always find a bit of shade. We visited beaches up and down the costa brava and despite it being the busiest time of the year, found the local beach to be our favourite. Wonderful restaurants and friendly people, we fell in love with this part of Spain. We are a family of 5 and we loved the ease of beach access combined with being. On a quiet street. The church bells are loud, you do get used to them though and parking was predictably terrible for peak season. Neither of these things would stop us coming back though!

Spacious, central and well appointed apartment on the beautiful Costa Brava coast
This large apartment in the picturesque coastal town of Calella de Palafrugell provided the perfect introduction to our first visit to the Costa Brava: super-convenient; clean and comfortable; and spacious and stylish. The owner, Glenys, is friendly, helpful and always on hand if needed. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment and beautiful place
We have just returned home after a week's stay. The apartment is lovely, light and spacious. We had 7 adults in our group and we all had a lovely room and plenty of space.
Great location, just a stones throw from the beach. Fantastic cliff walks, and lovely bars and restaurants.
Glenys couldn't have been more helpful, meeting us on our first day and giving us lots of information on what was going on in the local area during our stay.
Very close to the local church and the bells. Glenys does supply earplugs though!! It hasn't put us off as we would love to return if we get the chance!

Superb Apartment & Location
We have just returned from this beautiful apartment, it is so well equipped, spacious and comfortable. I felt at home straight away, which normally takes me days to settle in. It got a lovely Spanish feel and is really well located, in a peaceful street just a hop skip and jump to the lovely beach & village Calella De Parafugel of which have a great choice of restaurants. It was great to be able to use beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The balcony was so peaceful and to return after a day and just relax with the end of day sun still lovely and warm. The surrounding areas have wonderful beaches, and the old town Parafugel is a lovely town to take a stroll excellent morning market, good selection of shops and great square to enjoy a coffee. Glenys was very helpful, we encountered a problem with car hire at airport on arrival and came to the rescue to take us back the following day. I would definitely recommend this apartment, and we would love to be able to return.

A wonderful apartment
I have recently spent a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this apartment with three other friends. Not only was it central, it was well equipped, clean, fresh with plenty of room and space to relax.
The owner couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Perfect for relaxing with no car needed
We were 4 women holidaying together and in need of a relaxing place to chill out - This apartment and the area of Calella certainly ticked all the boxes for us. The apartment was clean and well furnished and decorated - the kitchen was very well kitted out - the bathrooms were good and the showers were extremely good with good pressure and lovely hot water at all times, despite 4 of us showering frequently. We walked along the coast path to the lovely gardens of Cap Roig and in the other direction to the bay at Llafranc and we also took the local bus into Girona to see the flower festival (which was recommended to us by the owner) and was definitely worth the trip. We thought about hiring a car but in the end decided against it and found that we managed very well without it, despite the bus service not being fully operational until June. The Owner - Glenys - was very helpful and provided very good customer service both before the holiday and during it. The weather was wonderful and the location and accommodation all provided the chill out holiday that was just a dream when we booked it in the cold days of January. I would just add one thing - Calella does have a rather enthusiastic town clock - which you do actually get used to - and which I think would be heard wherever you were located in Calella. However I for one would definitely return to Calella and to this apartment again.

Apartment in Calella
I stayed in Calella for a week in June with my two children. I loved the apartment, it was spacious, comfortable and clean. Best of all was the location, right in the village. It was lovely to be able to walk within 2 minutes to beaches, restaurants and shops. It has a large balcony off the kitchen where we ate every day, and plenty of room to relax inside. Calella de Palafrugell itself is very pretty and safe, with pleasant walks along the coastal path to nearby Llfranc. The owner, Glenys, was extremely helpful, and went out of her way to help me with a small problem I had with my rental car. She was absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this apartment in a great spot on the Costa Brava.

Apartment in Calella du Palafrugell
If you like traditional Spain then you will love Calella de Palafrugell.
The apartment is just a 2 minute walk from the main beach, bars, restaurants and mini supermarket. It is spacious and very well equipped. The two balconies at the rear of the apartment are excellent for alfresco dining or just relaxing, with sun from morning to the end of the day (but also have plenty of shade.)
The owner, Glenys Lewis, made us feel very welcomed.
We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Excellent base for a beach holiday
Spacious and clean property situated just off the beach front. The location is perfect for family groups and it is very peaceful giving you a break from the beach when you need it.
4 big bedrooms, towels and linen included and everything required for a good stay.
The owner was on hand if needed and even help us out with a kind favour, which was most appreciated.

Very nice and cosy place
The property is in a small street on the first floor, walking distance to the lovely beach is about 150 metres. The apartment is in a good condition, with everything you need, a nice balcony towards the back yard. Everything is in a modern style. We enjoyed our stay as a family with two children, 8 and 11 years. The owner is very friendly, she gives you all the information, you need. The restaurants and bars in the area are extremly good. The beaches in the area are familiar. Just around the corner is a small supermarket with everything you need, also fresh bread in the morning. We would definitly come back to this place.

Apartment, Calella de Palafrugell
What a great apartment --- we had a wonderful time!
We were two families vacationing together (total: 4 adults, 4 kids under age 5). This location was perfect, for grownups and kids alike. It is 100 m from the beach, with several restaurants and well-stocked small grocers nearby, and a lovely hiking path along the coast. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and not crowded. There are several spots that are easy to get to by car (Palafrugell, Girona, ..), but we spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful beach. The owners were great. (We accidentally left a few things in the apartment; they mailed them to us without charge.)
