It is a perfect location close to shops, restaurants and tapas bars yet private and secure with quite bedrooms facing the rear of the building. The apartment is fully equipped , clean and comfortable . There is access to WIFi and TV with international channels. We provide beach chairs, towels and parasol. The perfect location to enjoy superb views from the balcony where you can enjoy meals al fresco or watch the activity unravelling on the beach and the palm lined promenade .

The apartment had everything one could need, the kitchen was fully equipped, even a lot of spices were there. The view was spectacular, and it was a quiet place.

Very nice location, quiet and fantastic view over the beach. We stayed a week end march and spent most of the time on the bis terrace.
Parking was not included in the price, however the garage is directly around the corner and we were helped by the friendly host to get a discount for a week (ca. 14€ per day). We will come back!

Monica was very responsive and patient, even though we arrived late on a Saturday night, and quickly arranged prepaid parking for the entire duration of our stay at "Parking La Puntilla" around the corner. (Parking was €14 per day, but very convenient. Locals pay €100 per month :-)
We were there for two full weeks with three kids from 10-13 years, and went snorkeling on the reef at low tide almost every day.
The apartment has an excellent and comfortably large terrace (3x7m) and we spent most evenings cooking with all windows fully opened, overlooking the city, beach, and reef.
Grocery shopping is 2 mins away at SuperDino, which has everything you need at reasonable prices.
This apartment comes highly recommended!

Nice apartment just in front of the beach
We are a family with two small kids spending one week in november 2018 at this apartment. We can highly recommend the apartment. You have an amazing view at the playa las Canteras. When you go out of the door you find many nice restaurants and bars, a supermarket is not very far. The beach is right in front of the apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, it s clean and the bathroom is new. The owner of the apartment helped at once when something was not working anymore.

Lots of good quality appliances in the kitchen with a decent TV and comfortable seating. The balcony is large with a table and chairs as well as room for sunbeds. Location wise, its perfect for sunbathing on the beach where the hire of sun beds is very reasonable. Great sightseeing and shopping. There are many restaurants and they all provided good food at a reasonable price. Parking would be difficult if you hired a car and everything is on your doorstep or a short taxi ride away.

This is a beautiful, clean, spacious apartment that is at the end of the sweep of Las Canteras beach. It has a very large balcony, a Perfect place to people watch and observe any fiesta that is often on the beach. Thoroughly recommended.

A very enjoyable stay
We are a retired couple who have spent 2 weeks in Monica's apartment. We were delighted with our stay. The apartment is very comfortable, private and secure yet very close to all amenities. The beautiful balcony with its lovely views and day long sunshine is one of the best we have had in all our years of renting holiday apartments. Our best recommendation is that we have already booked our Winter holiday there for 2015.

Excellent Apartment
The apartment is beautifully furnished to a very high standard. The views from the terrace are wonderful.
Close to bars and restaurants, we had really good meals out.
Monica and her family are delightful.
Even when we had to call her on Saturday night because we had come out leaving the key inside! Sorry Monica.
We would definitely stay here again, but without a car, that was a nuisance.

Perfect location
We stayed at La Casa de Las Pinturas for 9 nights in October.This apartment is a little gem.Clean,well equipped for anyone who likes to cook and eat alfresco,and very secure.(Lift straight into the apartment) The location was perfect for the beach, shops restaurants and buses if you want to see the Island. Our lovely host Monica was at the apartment when we arrived and also visited us before we left.The people are very friendly and are willing to help with any language problems.Being a city we thought this would not be the case.Not so.The only downside was the drains which occasionally emit a bit of a pong! Solved by putting all the plugs in when we remembered to!this is a problem all along this beach apparently but a small price to pay for such a stunning location and fabulous apartment.Would recommend for couples rather than 6 people.

Our second visit!
A fantastic place to stay. The views from the balcony are magnificent. You can 'people watch' for hours! The description of the property and its surroundings on this website is very accurate. It is very private, yet you feel at the heart of Playa de las Canteras life. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful (and speaks very good English). Good restaurants all around and a well stocked supermarket less than five minutes walk away. Also close to a food market. We enjoyed using the local buses ( nearest stop a few minutes walk away). You can get a book of 10 tickets for about 8 Euro. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
