About this condo rental
Located in Sorrento, this charming condo for $245 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Ge. PA's Home apartment is located in one of the most strategic places from which to visit Sorrento, very close to the bus stop, the train station. As soon as you leave the park you will find yourself catapulted into the cheerful atmosphere that transmits this beautiful city surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets. The property is located on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, with an elevator. Equipped with all the living room comforts equipped with TV, sofa, HI-FI, coffee table, all large bedrooms equipped with air conditioning, functional wardrobe, suitcase holders, bedside tables and drawers, the strong point is a large terrace (sofas and table lunch) where you can relax after long visits along the Sorrento Peninsula, tiring, but beautiful :) enjoying an excellent glass of sparkling wine on Piazza Lauro, the second main square of the city. The house also has a second terrace where you can sunbathe. for cleaning the house we require a small extra charge of euro 70 to be paid in cash on arrival.

Great host, very accommodating. Unit is very spacious and well equipped. We loved sitting on the terrace and people watching. Large piazza is very close, plus grocery and many restaurants.

Gerardo was very present and responsible. The three bedroom, two bathroom space was large, well equipped and in a great location. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting beautiful Sorrento.

This location is on the Main Street, close to everything. The balcony is fabulous to relax with a coffee in the morning or a night cap at the end of the day.
The only negative, no dish clothes or tea towels.

We loved our 4 night stay in this rental. It was meticulously clean, spacious and walkable to all of Sorrento. We particularly loved the outdoor patio that overlooked a park. We spent our mornings and evenings outside enjoying the Mediterranean breezes. What a lovely stay.

This VRBO house is a the perfect spot to walk to everything. A few steps away from cafes, restaurants and shopping, but still quiet enough at night. There’s a taxi stand directly outside of the building, too. The elevator was incredibly helpful for family with a knee injury. Gerardo was extremely accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we had to arrive a day later than expected. The only thing thing is that the listing says it has a dryer, but it’s just a drying rack (not a machine). It wasn’t a problem for us, but for those staying longer it’s good to know!
Also - ask Gerardo about his limoncello!!! :)

The good: nice, clean apartment; great location; air conditioning units in each bedroom (no “central” air, though.
The bad: listing says there is a washer/dryer but there is ONLY a washer, NO dryer. We were not left with much toilet paper for 4 people/6 nights, and when we asked the owner if more toilet paper is in the apartment, we were informed he only provides toilet paper for ONE DAY, because “this is not a hotel.” The listing says that toilet paper is provided, which implies throughout the stay. Also, we have stayed in many VRBO lodgings and have never once had a response like that. Kind of left a sour taste. Would have been so easy to just leave a small package to resupply, and leave with happy customers. Also, there was only one hand towel and bath towel per person, so if you wanted clean ones you had to wash your own- but with no dryer, this is a little problem. There was a gas stove but we had to buy our own lighter to ignite it. (Owner said he’d “fix it” but that didn’t happen.) No dish towels or paper towels in the kitchen, nothing to dry our hands or dry dishes. Showers are fine if you are a small person (all four of us are small) but it would be hard for a larger-size person.

This apartment is in a very central location in Sorrento. It is literally a minute to two minute walk to Piazza Tasso which is a main square. It is super close to the train station and steps to the port and a supermarket. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and the host was very accommodating and nice. There was plenty of room for the five us staying. I would recommend this place to someone who is looking for convenience of location, cleanliness, and timely response time from the host. It was a very pleasant stay.

Great location, easy to get to everything in Sorento. Property manager met us earlier than we were expected, explained the amenities very well and had a lot of useful information about Sorento in the apartment. Property was very roomy and comfortable. A couple minor suggestions would be to have better towels for showering and a few more fans. The air conditioning went out a couple times in the middle of the night and we had to wake up and restart them. Having a large balcony was an asset for the evenings to enjoy even though we were there during a hot spell of 100 degree+ days and nights. Overall we would stay there again!

We enjoyed this rental in the sweltering heat of summer, which made us appreciate the air conditioning in the bedrooms. We also really enjoyed how spacious the rental was! The balcony was great and we used it late in the evening. Location was very good as it wasn’t far from things inside the city center, but we did have some noise from late night folks in the square next to the rental. If I were to stay in Sorrento again, I’d definitely try to rent this place again!!

We had a wonderful two weeks with friends in Sorrento and the icing on the cake was this excellent apartment.
It is far better than the pictures do justice, lovely spacious rooms and a very large balcony where you can sit out in the mornings and evenings in lovely surroundings.
Gerardo is a very helpful host who met us to check in a lot earlier than scheduled and was very accommodating.
The apartment is situated just outside the main town (less than a 5 minute walk) and there are numerous bars and restaurants on the doorstep.
We will definitely be returning in the future, cannot recommend this highly enough, absolutely fantastic!

The apartment is in the perfect place in Sorrento...very central, with scores of places to eat, drink, shop. It sits high above the tree-lined street and has a large terrace and excellent air con in the bedrooms which ate stro g enough to cool the rest of the apartment 8n the hot weather. The living room is a very good size and the bedrooms are big and very comfortable. We loved the kitchen and the fabulous bathrooms. The whole place is roomy and spotless. It has everything needed, even for a long stay. Gerardo the host is a lovely man and extremely helpful. We were able to catch the adorable tourist train which leaves just near the apartment. In 35 mins for $7.50 euro each you get a fabulous open air tour (it is shaded from the top). If we come back to Sorrento we would try to book this apartment again.

Apartment was a lot bigger than the photos show. The outside space was brilliant for the early evening cocktail. The bathrooms were clean and spacious with excellent showers. Will definitely be back.

The location is perfect as described. A short walk to bus, train, and ferry. The apartment was immaculate and much bigger than we expected. We loved being able to walk out the door and be so close to shops and restaurants.

The apartment's location was a huge plus providing easy access to restaurants, grogeries, etc. Not a 5 minute walk from the train station and set back in a quiet location alond Sorrento's main artery Corso Italia. We were met at the train station by Gerrado who assisted us and oriented us to the apartment. The property was very clean and well organized. Two balconies! Great jumping off place for Path of the Gods, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. When we return to Sorrento, we hope to stay again with Carla and Gerardo

Few things to know: in order to get the keys, the owner has to meet you. This means you have to be able to find the apartment right outside the train station. It’s only about a two minute walk from the train station, which is amazing for us since we arrived in the evening and were tired. Great (Franco’s) pizza a 3 minute walk away, Hertz rent a car 2 minutes away. Parking up the alley by the railroad station—tell them you need 24 hour rental (ask for 20 EURO rate for hotels) which they honored.
Owner charges you a cleaning charge of (Why isn’t it charged in the VRBO fees? It bothered me—but then I saw the cleaner who does this place was amazing so I let it go) 70 Euro plus the tourist tax on arrival. Have cash. Add that into your budget.
Most of the pics are from the town. Tiny sliver of the sea visible from the balcony. Very well sound insulated trim the outside noises. He had a big USB charger which was great—we found there are 2 types of plugs in Italy and one of our adapters broke.

Gerardo was a great host. The apartment is well situated but remember to close the wooden blinds at night to keep out the noise from the park next door where the party continues most nights until 2 or 3 pm. Air conditioning in the bedrooms only, Gerardo would do well to put another A/C unit in the living areas, the living room and kitchen got quite hot. The bedroom A/C units kept shutting down int he middle of the night requiring a manual restart. Walking distance to most everything in Sorrento, safe location, two blocks from the train station, supermarket across the street. Recommended for families or groups of friends. Thanks Gerardo!

The apartment was big and had everything we needed. It was in a great location. There is a grocery store just steps away. You are right on the main street of Sorrento (which also means you may hear some noise from the restaurants/stores below at night). The host was very friendly and accessible. I would stay here again.
