‘Ghost Hotel’ near a littered beach…

Great breakfast, nice sea view from room. Air con working.

Difficult to get assistance or more room supplies as staff were nowhere to be seen except at breakfast. Front desk is always empty, even when we arrived. There was never enough toilet paper throughout our stay so we had to get it ourselves twice from a supplies cupboard we found. Housekeeping is NOT daily as advertised, and is done at a bare minimum when they do. Nearby cafes and restaurants and general area were void of life. This hotel is NOT on the beachfront as advertised; you walk across the road and down the hill, through a construction site/property onto a small, littered, pebbly beach. 2km away from the centre so you have to catch a crowded bus. Some guests were treated differently at breakfast; being served from the buffet while the rest collected their own breakfast…

Friendly hosts and beautiful views at one of Saranda’s best hotels

The hotel has amazing views across Saranda. For us it’s a hotel that feels more authentic nestled between the rapidly growing area that features a lot of generic new builds around. The grounds are full of yucca trees and beautiful flowers that make for a really nice place to chill in a busy tourist district. The owners are a family and they’re very attentive, warm and friendly. The breakfast buffet is varied and tasty. The rooms are clean and functional.

Would have been good to have some extra shade on the balcony. Tea and coffee facilities in room would be a nice add on, but you can purchase coffee from the restaurant downstairs and it also comes as part of the breakfast buffet.

Very nice location , private parking, beautiful view, very good breakfast, air conditioning, elevator, very nice staff, and very good restaurant also fot dinner

The bathroom is designed strange - shower kabin directly in front of the toilet, the additional bed was not very comfortable

Best hotel experience I’ve had as a hosteller. I felt welcomed and part of the family.

I had some ants in my room so Mike upgraded me without me requesting it. I had a beautiful view of the sunset, the breakfast was abundant and varied, the rooms were cleaned daily. Everyone was super friendly and I felt safe and looked after. I was even given lifts when it was possible to save me taxi fares. Mike’s food in the restaurant is spectacular (far better than any I had elsewhere) and the waiting staff would do anything to help. Everyone had a huge smile, advice and no shortage of time for me. It was an exceptional stay and I’d go back every time I’m in Saranda.

Superb

We had a beautiful room with a sea view. The staff was very warm and helped us in every way they could to make our stay very comfortable. Highly recommended! Just one thing to note, the hotel is a 6-7 minute drive from Saranda boulevard, but taxis are always available hence commute will not be an issue.

Very nice stay

The room was very clean and cozy with an amazing view .. the breakfast was great:)

The location is hard if you don't have a car ... there is a bus Evey hour (always crowded..taxis were not easy for us so we are left with limited restaurant/bars options

We’re definitely coming back!

I liked the amazing view especially with the sunset. The breakfast was good and the stuff was friendly. Whenever you need something they are right there to help. Also it’s close to the center of Saranda and Ksamil.

Overall a good stay but...

the hotel is located around 3 Km from Saranda city centre and seaside walk, so it has a nice position for someone who want to stay away from the summer crowd of saranda. Close by there are few restaurants. It has a very steep entrance but plenty of parking inside. The breakfast was really good with many options and could be consumed in the wide terrace in front of the property. There is also a restaurant but we did not try it. We had the luck or bad luck to try two different rooms, one facing the backyard and the other one facing the sea. The rooms are large enough so plenty of space fo you and your luggage. A special mention to the young girl helping at breakfast and with check in as she was really nice and with a good english

There are few things we did not like and some of them could be easily improved. First of all, the hotel itself is quite old and would need some refurbishment, especially the rooms. Second, we booked a room with balcony and see view for two nights but the hotel made a mistake so they had to move us to another room for the first night which was facing the backyard. Mistakes can happen so was not a major problem but because of this I asked for a partial reimbursement as rooms with balcony and sea view are always the most expensive. I was told this could not be done because the room they moved us to was larger. Despite it really was, this doesn't make sense to me as I did not pay for a larger room but I have paid for a sea view room and the hotel made a mistake. It would have been also nice to get a discount for this without asking, that's how to master problem solving and meet customer expectations. Having said that, the room we have been moved for the first night was large but the bed was not really a double bed but two single attached and there was space between the two mattress due to the bed wooden frame and this could not be filled so really uncomfortable during the night. Finally, we have been moved to the see view room and we found the room nicer but the shower was a nightmare. I do wonder who was the smart person making it that way (picture attached) and leaving a space between the shower and the protective glass so all the water flows out even if you take care.

Comfortable mattresses, furniture ok.

Maybe 2 stars, no way 3. Ants in the bathroom, shower did not work properly, no pressure, balcony not recommended for children. Poor breakfast, poor quality products. Overall, I do not recommend.

The place was better than expected. The view was amazing, the breakfast was exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful and nice. I give it 10+ stars if I could.

They should update the photos on Booking as the place is way better than what the photos show.

Good breakfast and Stunning view

The view from the room made it all.The breakfast was good and offered a good variety to choose from. The staff was very kind and was always ready to help and solve any unexpected issue.

The room we got did not look like the one we booked, but the view was beautiful. The toilet did not flash properly and in two ocasiones we had to inform the reception that there was no water in the shower.

Fantastic family run hotel, with beautiful views and restaurant

This was our favourite hotel that we stayed at during our time in Albania. Beautiful outdoor restaurant at the front of hotel with a very greek feel to it. Restaurant food was delicious and affordable. Great views of the beach and sunset from the balcony of the room we were staying in. 5 minute walk to Mango beach where we spent a lot of our time.

Small selection for breakfast with same options every day, but what was provided was delicious!

Superb

One of the best hotel in Sarandi, with a nice restoran. Sea view from terrace is butifule. Food is a very nice, maybe one of the best (pasta with chicken and tartufy, bolognese, sea food pasta).. Position of hotel is nice, and have a big parking space (for Saranda very rare and very important)! Recommendation for all! And one important things, room is a very nice and big, and very clean!

The braekfast was the same evry day and little boring, but fresh and ok. And we have a little problem with a water in shower cople of times for 10 days.

The toilet didn’t flush that well, the bathroom fan was quite loud even when the door was closed, it’s quite far from the center and finding parking in the city center was a bit of a nightmare at night and even during the day, the staff were kind and helpful, we decided to leave early and move to a different hotel
