The hotel is clean, has a working lift, good air con and lovely staff. Good location to the train station as I did not have a car. The team on reception were very helpful and helped book me taxis and a couple of great wineries. A really lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Thank you very much.

Exceptional historic hotel, very welcoming staff. Suite room at the front of the hotel fantastic. Buffet breakfast of fresh fruits and pastries exceptional. Highly recommended.

The hotel construction itself is a vintage wonder and the way they have captured the transformation as a storytelling is mind blowing. We loved it!
Hotel kitchen staffs were not very welcoming to people outside from Europe. We have stayed in many different hotels in multiple countries all over the world and that is very common in Europe; however I didn’t expect it in a tourist friendly country like Portugal!
