The comforting area

The atmosphere. You’re not getting this place for a visit. You’re renting for an experience. There is a bus stop close. Restaurants close. And on the Friday Night Street Party, you’re essentially on St. Lucia’s version of Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The gorgeous beach is one block away, and a must see if you can hike it, Signal Peak, is about a mile up the road for spectacular views of the island. Otherwise it’s quiet and all locals. Claudia is a magnificent host.
Be sure to bring your own soap. This is rustic living at it's finest. The bed is the definition of a bed. There may also be a rooster to serenade your mornings, but if you want a slice of life like the St. Lucian's, this is a perfect spot.

Boendet ligger precis vid stranden och även precis intill huvudgatan i Gros Islet. Det är relativt billigt boende.
AC:n funkar inte och det blir extremt varmt trots golvfläkten. Sängen är rätt sliten så har man ryggproblem är den inte kul att sova i. Kuddarna är väldigt tunna.
