Our room stayed comfortably cool during a very warm period, and was very nicely furnished. We had great breakfasts, and Christine gave us really helpful advice on best routes to walk into Bayeux (only 15- 20 mins) which helped us get to see more of the delightful town. (Thanks for telling us about the traditional ‘trou Normand’ dessert/palate cleanser - it’s now a firm family favourite!)

lovely breakfast, exceptional host , friedly and gave excellent advice on local places to visit. within walking distance of the town centre where there were excellent places of interest to visit and also eat and drink.

The breakfast each morning was plentiful. We had fresh fruit to start followed by croissant or other pastries, juices and plenty of coffee. Christine provided a large bagged breakfast each with drinks, pastries and fruit, as well as snacks for the mornings we had to leave early for tours, and they were very much appreciated. The museum was very interesting and we spent a great deal of time looking at the collection. Our bedroom was lovely, had its own bathroom with shower and Christine provided fresh towels whenever we wanted them. It was so nice having a chat with Christine, and she provided some really welcome suggestions of places to visit and where to eat dinner. We would definitely recommend staying here, and we will try to get back to visit another year. The walk into Bayeaux was an easy 15 or 20 minutes and the town is beautiful. Thanks again Christine!!

The reviews and pictures that showed it as the perfect place to stay !!!!!!!
Run down and neglected the breakfast that reviews raved about is in reality just a rationing of the same every day. The map room contents should be donated to a museum Not left to deteriorate in an open barn. Very disappointing and misleading reviews.
