The 4 bedr, 2,5 bathr, Holiday Luxury Lakefront Villa is placed at Lake Álftavatn in South of Iceland. The house has a hot tub, fireplace beach and a magnificent mountain view

Fantastic house with great views, very well equipped and just like a home from home. The host had thought of everything including robes and a basket full of sliders to go to the hot tub! Good location for touring the south coast. We had 11 people in the house and was ok but was a bit of a wait for showers/bathrooms. Not a criticism of the house, just worth knowing if you are a large party. It was freezing and snowy during our stay but the house was lovely and well heated. We hope to come back in the warmer months! The host was also great at sharing information and for telling us when to look out for the northern lights which was a nice touch! Many thanks

This was an absolutely beautiful home on the lake in Selffoss. It was so comfortable and relaxing with the view of the lake. Excellent amenities and plenty of sleeping quarters for our adventure group of women. The host’s Sigyn and Diddi were so responsive with all questions prior to our first trip to Iceland …. Also during our trip. We used the hot tub daily after hiking and enjoyed the kayaking on the lake!We had a splendid trip!

There were 9 of us of all ages that arrived in Iceland. The house was perfect for us, both in size and location. We were lucky to have mild weather, so there was no problem driving our rental van. Sigyn was there when we arrived and showed us around the house. She actually shipped my diamond earrings that I inadvertently left there on departure and they arrived the next week. I would definitely stay there again!
