Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, no people, little traffic and just wind and tranquility. We saw the Northern Lights every single night from the porch (we were lucky I've heard). Sleeping in a wooden box in Iceland is a unique thing I thought I must do, and I'm glad I've done it.
We actually had no problem with this, but you should know: the cabin is for sleeping, not for living. There is no toilet inside the 2 cabins, only the main house that has 3 bedrooms. So if you're in the cabin and your bladder wakes you up at 3:00 AM, you must put on boots and walk outside in the Icelandic cold to the main house like a pioneer.

We saw the Aurora almost every night. We had all we could need in the house, for cleaning, washing, cooking. The hot tube was great. The house has enough space for 3 families.
We tried to do an earlier check in but it did not work out.
