I would suggest to train your volunteers a bit more. A little polishing would be nice because although they’re volunteers they’re still employees and they shook set the example to the guests. For example the quiet time rule but then the volunteers were the first one to break the rule. Laughing out loud or speaking at high volume at 2am when guests are trying to sleep in the room next to the gathering.

CLEAN and quiet and close to the subway.

Reasonably priced for shared bathroom option. Very clean. I appreciated hoe quiet and out of the way it is. I can walk 8 to 10 minutes to the subway. The subway line makes it easy to get just about anywhere in the city.

Nothing. Good people running a good place. Perfect for college students and solo travelers.

Okay

I only stayed one night, but it was easy to find. The room was a bit small which I wouldn´t mind but maybe a curtain to the bed would be nice.

The washing machine in the common room space - makes noise so if you want to eat your food in peace and quiet, you can´t.

ベッドカーテンさえあれば言う事無し！

駅から近い徒歩圏内に深夜0時をすぎでも開いている食堂や飲み屋がたくさんある近くに24時間営業のサウナもあるウォーターサーバーがあるのはありがたい！熱湯も出る！タオルも無料で貸してくれます！受付の男性が親切で感じが良かったです。

6人部屋でしたが、各ベッドにカーテンは無し！いつも持ち歩いてる万能布で即席カーテンを作りました。ここ最近は安いドミトリーでもほとんど付いてるので付けた方がいいのでは？それだけで快適さが断然変わるので。私が割り当てられた部屋が外国人スタッフの寝泊まりする部屋のようで、物の多さと生活臭が気になりました。隣の部屋を覗いたらスッキリしていたのでできればそちらが良かったなぁと。安いので文句は言えないですが^⁠_⁠^

Good Wifi, Location and friendly staff but I would not stay there again due the dorm being way below standard

Good Wifi/Location and Staff were friendly.

The dorm I was in had a bad smell, it was uncomfortable to be in the room. We tried our best to air it. The common area is very small and has strict quiet hours from 11 pm, but still nice to chill out there.

It is cheaper accommodation in a high-class area, so it is a good deal.

There are some volunteers on the staff, and some of them are unfriendly. It is hot because the air conditioning in the room does not work much. The living room is too narrow, too crammed.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I have visited Seoul multiple times in the past and so far, I think this has been the best hostel I've stayed at. It's great that the property is located in the Gangnam area. It's in close proximity to major establishments and transportation is easily accessible (10-min walk to Seolleung Station, 3 min walk from the bus stop). I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Oh, and the staff is friendly, too.

Great but Gangnam Isn't

Nice people staying there, the common room is actually surprisingly social. The price is very good and the staff kept the hostel very clean.

The location is inconvenient, difficult to get to from the airport and not on all the major metro lines. Would recommend staying in a different neighborhood.

Would not recommend.

it was cheap, but for a reason.

Here’s a list of things I experienced during my stay. First of the wallpaper was old and almost torn off many places. The room had a very harsh perfume smell as to cover for something bad. The wall close to my bed was moist with drops of water on it as I was sleeping next to the window. There were no blinds in the dorms and the light wasn’t able to turn of completely. The street lights kept blinking as well though the window. The towels were super small and the showers wet since the toilet and shower is one room. (Korean style, but not efficient for a small place with many visitors) That’s only talking about the facilities. There were strange people in this place. A woman tried to sell me and other guests used electronics, so she could afford another night. A guy slept in the common area the whole night. People came in and out of the dorm rooms throughout the night and I had a hard time sleeping even with earplugs in. There were of cause also nice people and encounters, but they were far overshadowed by the negative experiences.

The Best Hostel in Gangnam, Seoul

It was great experience in the centre of Korea. I thought it'd be good enough with this cheap price, but It is superb excellent quality. if it is in Europe, it should be triple price. I strongly recommend this hostel to people who are going to visit Gangnam.

It was a truly warm and convivial place, which almost feels like home...

I particularly liked that the property was within walking distance from Seolleung station which was well connected to various areas of interests. It also had many eateries around the corner (keep an eye for the fried chicken & beer shop) which was very convenient. There was also a big supermarket as well as small convenience stores (Seven-Eleven, GS25). The manager Mr Jun Hee was very very helpful and friendly. He is always ready to help in whichever way he can and that only enhances the experience. The conviviality of the hostel where around 8pm everyone gathers in the common area for a quick meal or chitchat also renders the experience a truly amazing one. The two lovely girls who work there are also very nice.. Sayong and Gracie. I recommend and will definitely stay there whenever I go back to Korea.

Great location, chill staff.

Great location, good value for money, chill staff.

I've stayed here 3 times so far. This time I had a private room near the bathroom and it was a little noisy with people walking up and down to use the bathroom during the night and early morning, but not a big deal. Next time I'd like a room a bit further away from the main bathroom. But other than that, all was good.
