I would stay here again if in area.

Peaceful location, yet quite close to amenities. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and lovely people. Room was large, very comfortable and had numerous extras. Breakfasts were amazing: freshly cooked to a high standard, with lots of choice and in a very pleasant dining area.

The place is amazing. Room was very specious with daily cleaning service. Breakfast was excellent - I think u cannot have better one in any other place. Sam and Shaila were so welcoming and helpful!

Relaxing and very enjoyable. The room was bright, clean and the bed was so comfortable. Great food.

Sheila and sam are friendly, helpful and ensure you have an enjoyable experience in their home. We had a lovely time and the breakfast was amazing. We will def be recommending this b and b to our family and friends. Thank you.

Wonderful place to stay in Kenmare area

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The room was comfortable and private with a fantastic view, the location was near town and easy to get to off the main road, and the breakfast we were served was delicious. We were also given great advice on our travels.

There is nothing I didn't like about staying here. Everything exceeded expectations, and for the price, I've never had a better stay.

A beautifull house to stay at and very nice hosts. The room was very big and the bed was great. Very luxurious breakfast. We would certainly go to Fotgefield House again if we would go to kenmare again.

Absolutely perfect!

Extremely nice and helpful host couple Delicious breakfast with several options served in the private dining room with wonderful views into the green landscape Besides the rented rooms another room with a large table could be used to sit together, f.e. in the evenings Only a few minutes to town with several restaurants and big supermarkets

We had a lovely stay at Forgefield House. It was the perfect start for our trip through the west of Ireland. Because of

familiar atmosphere bright and tidy room fridge with milk and water for free lovely hosts (Thanks a million) varied selections of hot and cold breakfast (everything freshly made)

Best B&B in Kenmare

Everything. Really. The house is clean and bright and charming. The room is spacious and everything works. The location is outside town but less than 10 minutes away. Most importantly, Sam and Sheila are excellent hosts, taking care of their guests, sharing stories, and just generally are likable people.

I can't remember the hosts names I'm really bad with names..but I must say they were so nice..made us feel at home and the breakfast was excellent

Lovely breakfast room overlooking verdant field. The meal was excellent and our hosts were exceedingly kind and thoughtful. The house is on a quiet street a mile+ from town. The first night, we walked the pretty back road along the river to town, maybe 2.5 miles, then took a cab back to Forgefield after dinner.

We loved everything.

Home from home only cleaner

Spotlessly clean. Ever changing beautiful view from the dining room and the decking. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were like family members (the ones you get on with)

Exceptional

Sheila and Sam are very friendly and extremely helpful. They recommended to visit Ring of Beara and the Killarney national park. Both were excellent choices. It was also great that we could extend our stay one more day, even if they intended to travel to the UK a couple days later and we were intruding into their schedule.
