About this house rental

Nestled in Menemsha, this attractive house for $325 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This rental is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house with a porch where you can enjoy some fresh island air. There is a porch swing on the ground level, which provides another quiet spot to rest and relax. The living space is the top floor with a walk out basement. The master bedroom is spacious and includes a queen size bed and private full size bathroom. The other two rooms include full size beds. If you have more than 6 guests, the comfy couch opens up to a queen size bed to accommodate two more people. There is a quiet sitting area in the basement for anyone who needs their own space. There are extra mattresses as well, if you want to spread out your guests. Towels and linens are provided, unless otherwise directed. We have a cooler and beach chairs available if you want to take them to Philbin Beach, which is 2 miles away, Moshup Beach, Menemsha or Lobsterville Beach. Being located in Aquinnah, this rental would allow you to find peace of mind and tranquility day and night. During your stay, you may want to visit the Gay Head Light House and take a tour or grab lunch and shop for a souvenir at the cliffs. Don't forget to visit the Aquinnah Cultural Center as well. Be sure to catch a sunset at any of the surrounding beaches. It makes for some stunning photo opportunities. Friendly, house trained pets are welcome. Please be sure to clean up after pets and keep them on our property as not to disturb the neighbors. At the end of the day, kick back and relax by the fire pit and don't forget the chocolate for your smores. We also have some outdoor games readily available in the basement. If you enjoy staying indoors on a rainy day, we have puzzles you can do on the puzzle table (located in the closet of the sailboat room).

This house was a great place for my cousin and myself to stay while connecting with on-Island family over Christmas. I brought my dog, and she loved playing in the yard. A second story deck was the perfect place for morning coffee. We had a little trouble figuring out how to work the password for the Amazon Firestick, but other than that - excellent.

Gorgeous perfect house, huge garden, large kitchen with great stove and fridge, open plan with sitting area, excellent design, 3 double bedrooms, quiet rural location near Wampanoag land. No connection for T mobile, which was a problem for us, but internet connection was good. Worth stocking up with food and drink at a large supermarket when you arrive, as it is a long drive to the shops, unless you go to Grey Barn, where the much coveted raw (unpasteurised) milk and popular pastries sell out fast. Other local stores are a little expensive, though Alleys is worth a visit.

We had an amazing time in Aquinnah! House was clean, very comfortable, and well equipped. We grilled, had bonfires, star gazed, and went to glorious Philbin beach. Lots of wildlife and away from the hustle/traffic of towns. We have stayed several places on the island and this is my favorite. Owners were very prompt when we had a few minor questions. Our dog was also happy.

We enjoyed all that the area had to offer. The house is set in a lovely wooded area with a pond. We really enjoyed being outside and visiting the nearby beaches and hiking trails. We also enjoyed having coffee on the deck and observing the various wildlife. Would highly recommend this property if you enjoy outdoor adventures.

My husband, myself, and our dog Gus really enjoyed our stay. The house and property was a quiet little oasis. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We loved playing fetch in the yard with Gus, bike rides to the beach down the road, and relaxing at lobsterville beach. Kelly was quick to respond to all our needs and she even let us check in early. We cannot wait to come back!

This was a highly comfortable vacation home for our family in a gorgeous more isolated part of the island. The property was beautifully maintained, house with all needed amenities and more, and owners responsive and welcoming. We’ll be back!

This house is situated on a lovely piece of land surrounded by meadow and woodland. The beach is a short jog away. the accommodations included a lovely back porch with a view of the sunset through the trees.

We stayed her for my husband’s 50th birthday and it was just perfect. Property is on my favorite part of Martha’s Vineyard. Perfect if you love quiet, bird-watching and serene settings. We loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is just so comfortable and the pictures truly do not do it justice. Our dog was in heaven exploring the large yard. This was such a perfect alternative to the busier sections of the island. Everything you could need was provided in the house and it was spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful time here. It’s a beautiful secluded home in a very quiet area of the island but close to everything. We swam, ate outside, grilled, chilled on the porches (loved it!). We will definitely be back!

Only negative was rental was not renovated and up to date as advertised. But very clean and owner response very good. It was a little hard to find at night as no mailbox or house number at end of driveway.

We had a wonderful stay in Aquinnah! The house had everything we needed for a family of five, including our family dog. It was clean and comfortable! The house is located in an area that is quiet and peaceful, and only a short drive to the beaches. We hope to be back someday!

The Silva's property was perfect:) The house looks better in person and more spacious than the pictures can show. Unlike most rentals that only provide the basics, the Silva is a home away from home with all the amenities. There outside grounds are amazing with plenty of parking and space to have a bbq or family fun. The rooms were a good size and I loved the open concept of the kitchen/living area. The bonus is the large porch to relax on and basement nook was great for teenagers or additional guests. Kelly was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. I would love to go back again and again!

A beautiful location with all the amenities you need for a wonderful stay. the firepit was lovely along with the twinkle lights on the railings and the picnic bench. Listening to the frogs at night was an added bonus.

Very homey, comfortable, welcoming. Beautiful inside and outside spaces, excellent quiet beach is a few short minutes away. I have been coming to the island for my whole life, always stayed with family - this is the place to rent for the real relaxing island experience. Easy and accommodating hosts. I will be back.

My wife and I stayed at this property for a few days while visiting friends on the Island. It worked out well, as the house is very comfortable, with a good kitchen, and a lovely view of a small pond. No issues at all made for a lovely stay.
