We were greeted warmly upon arrival and the guy at reception spoke very good english. He explained in detail how to get to the Hanok Village, which eas only a short walk away.
Good bus connection (119 bus) from the railway station. 7/11 and GS25 only a short walk away as well as plenty of restaurants.
The room was small but super clean and comfortable.
We appreciated the fridge.
The breakfast room looked comfortable and tidy bit we missed breakfast (8 a.m) due to an early departure

Good location, helpful staff, clean, comfortable. Good alternative if you don’t want to sleep in a dorm with other people.
The room is a bit stuffy but if you keep the windows opened (has a net) is completely fine

The kitchen cups were cute. Spacious communal kitchen. Room, the bright yellow duvet is a mood lifter. I liked seeing the local TV channels. I appreciated the free shampoo and conditioner and the toothpaste and toothbrush. It was tidy and clean. It was a quiet place, very bliss. The air conditioner was effective and great to see that I was able to make it cooler to my preferred temperature. The toast, jam, and butter were yummy. Nice straightforward coffee machine. Just give it time to wake up. The owner is kind, and showed me places in Hanok Village to see it's boundaries. Very basic English.
For me, a Western. The bed was still firm, only slightly softer than another bed in Korean I've been sleeping on. There were six hand towels but no large towels for your body after a shower. I understand that, that's a cultural norm to use hand towels after a shower. I would have preferred a side lamp, to keep the room dim at night time. Breakfast seemed to be a 'make your own breakfast' with the ingredients available earlier than 8am so I'm unsure of the reason a time is given to access the breakfast? Maybe because the lights are off, I couldn't find the light switch. I was able to have coffee one morning but the next morning, it has been cleaned and parts taken out so for a morning person I wasn't able to have a coffee at that time.
