Location is very close from city center. Rooms have been freshly renewed. Place is clean.

Rooms where clearly recently renewed however the common area was still under construction and not available to the guests. Owners only speak German. No English - No French, which made any type of interaction difficult. We also experienced some issues with heating (the rooms were freezing when we arrived and we had a few electrical issues when putting everything on…). If you mind noise, be mindful that walls are thin and you can easily hear your neighbors. In a few months, when everything will be set, I’m sure the place will be great but I would wait a bit before visiting.

Quiet, private parking place, decent breakfast

The place has changed owner and is under restructuring, it shouldn’t be open for booking yet. Rooms freezing cold, double bedroom has 1 bed + 1 sofa, double room has toilet in the aisle. New host doesn’t speak French or English, uses Google translator. To be reviewed once finished.

Petra and Leo are very kind, warm people. If you are in Castellane. This is the place where you have to stay. Both are so kind... We had a nice room, quite big. Bed was comfortable, towels soft. Very nice breakfast where we had a nice chat with Petra and Leo.

The restroom was private, tough located out side the room (this is for one room only).

The host are very nice, welcomed me outside and explained to me everything before I was going to ask. Cannot beat the view. Very tasty Belgium cholocates. Cute dog.

No air-con so it was hot, so I need to open the windows, then there was mosquito. But in the night it was cool.

Absolutely superb stay - the host was charming, helpful and friendly, the location was beautiful, quiet and had a great view, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend BnB Castellane without hesitation for a long or a short stay.

Nothing to dislike.

The accommodation is situated in a quiet dead-end street, just outside the village centre, close to a large supermarket. It is run by a very sympathetic, helpful, social couple. Both did their utmost to make the best of our stay. My son and I were offered an upgrade to a more spacious room, with seperate beds and a balcony. An extra early breakfast, on the day of our visit to the Verdon Gorge, was no problem. The food offered was fresh, varied and plenty - we could even make our lunch!

No points of improvement - keep up the high standard!
