Private pool room at a bargain price on Gili Air.

Complaints on previous reviews are overblown. For the price its a fabulous private pool room. Only 5 villas so very chill in one of the quietest corners of the island. Staff were fantastic and the rooms Aircon was great. The water dispenser is a life save and dispenses ICE COLD water (also has a fridge to keep anything else cold). They clean the room and pool if you request via door sign, and a few geckos running around outside is the standard for Gili Air. Didn't see any in the room over 4 nights and they have a mosquito net you can enclose yourself in if you're that worried.

It's a little bit dated and could do with a lick of paint and some new sun lounger cushions, but again no problem, and for the price you pay you're getting a steal. I would also recommend a parasol/umbrella because in the middle of the day there's no cover by the pool.

Dåligt städat, dom till och med glömde att städa en dag. Duschen var säkert inte städad på flera år. Personalen okunniga och dåliga på engelska.

Loved the private pool really great to have your own space. Coming from bali and how busy it is, it was very welcome.

Location was a a bit far from a lot of places but have bikes you can rent and the island is small so wasn't much of an inconvenience more trying to find a problem. My girlfriends hairdryer kept tripping the power.

Great spot , great little place!

Private little gem, exceptional staff and an easy walk to great warungs, restaurants and sunset drinks. In the quieter northern end of the island which suited us perfectly. Perfect for couples.. loved it!

Exceptional

We actually extended our stay here. Very quiet and super quick to sunset and sunrise spot. We really loved our time here and would book it again for sure! Also, 2mins away is "Legend bar" very nice place to hang out and my boyfriends favourite :)

Everything was spectacular! Staff members were so friendly and accommodating throughout the whole stay! My partner lost his earring in the pool and staff members tried their very best to retrieve it for us! bicycles were at the front desk for easy access whenever we needed to hire one (50,000Rp for a bike per day) They organised a horse carriage to come pick us up to take us back to the harbour aswell

Not much to dislike. there’s a lot of bugs and bird droppings but staff were fast to replace covers that weren’t up to our satisfaction

Perfect

This was the first time staying in a property with a private pool and it felt so luxurious. Staff made you feel so special too. Bed was comfortable with a huge room. Bathroom was big too. Towels provided for the pool and the shower. Breakfast is brought to you every morning and the breakfast is very tasty. Hotel offer bike rental and snorkelling tour. Location was quiet and short walk to the beach. The water cooler in room is a great touch and we drank the whole thing.

Hotel is a 20 minute walk from the harbour but you can take a horse and carriage which we opted not to do as horses can be treated badly and they look sad. Be prepared for some big creatures in your room such as massive spiders, lizards and tokay geckos (not the same as the cute little white geckos). It’s worth it.

It was okay for the value however, needs some improvements for standard comfort.

The villas were good value for money. There was a variety of choices for breakfast. Own private pool. The host gave us a map of the island & circled the restaurants that he would recommend. Also, highlighting the sunset and sunrise sides & where to go snorkelling. This was really helpful. Fresh bottled water which was filled when it was empty.

The cleanliness - we had fresh bedsheets half way through our stay however, these had dirty stains on. The plates & cutlery were not always clean when we had breakfast. The pool was dirty as soon as we arrived and had bits floating in it. The outside seating area cushion covers were stained & not clean. Tiles in the bathroom were not the cleanest.

We had a fantastic stay at Hoomea. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although the location is a little away from the main street/sunset side we actually loved being so close to the North beach and east side for turtle spotting.
