Location is perfect. The room is comfortable and spacious. Staff were helpful!
Technically, Caused I could sleep through anything so it didn’t affect me.
But my travel buddy is a light sleeper. The sounds from the bar is not too bad, there is a cut off timing. However, if you neighbours gather at the balcony and chat, you will be able to hear them quite loudly. Thankfully only one night.
But they do provide ear plugs.

Location was great - walk to train, harbour, attractions. Nice decor - lots of art. Good food.
Liked the rooftop bar.
We wanted to sit on the tables on the very top of the roof top bar.
We were told by a staff member that it was at capacity (although it clearly wasn't). When we questioned another staff they said it was a private function booking - disappointing as we were guests paying to stay at the hotel and couldn't access this area for a drink.
Also it was advertised as Happy Hour - but only st the main bar. We paid full price for our drinks and still weren't allowed to sit on the top deck. Apparently you can buy a drink at the main bar for happy hour price and take it up to the roof. There were a lot doing this and caused a lot of extra lift use and beer slops on floor. Just charge the same price at both bars!

Loved staying here. We had a Queen Delux room which was a lovely size for our 4 night stay. Plenty of choices around for eating & walking to the ferry was just down the road. The staff here are so lovely , we loved the live music which stopped by 11 pm but there are ear plugs in the room but the soundproofing is very efficient. We would stay here again. The food was also good with daily specials.

The room furnishing is nice, looks clean, it’s spacious with many windows and the bathroom has a bright, airy feeling. The location is convenient. Nice art in the hallways.
It felt more like a pub that happens to have accommodation, rather than a hotel. I was there on Fri and Sat night. There was rock music playing till midnight downstairs at the pub, and loud drunkards hanging out at the hotel ground floor and first floor. Made me feel unsafe. The lift has a horrible raw metal smell. I was asked to sign a pre-checkin form and one of the clauses was that my belongings in the room are my own responsibility, which made me feel unsafe, as if there would be potential theft or break-ins. Also when I was there for check-in, the reception was not open and I had to get the pub staff to call the hotel manager.
