About this apartment rental
The apartment, located on the main floor of an ancient noble palace in the center of Florence, 7 minutes walk from the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, 1 minute from via Tornabuoni where the best high fashion boutiques are located, close to the main attractions artistic, the best shops and restaurants in the city.It can accommodate up to four people and is spread over two levels: the first consists of a living area with double sofa bed, bathroom with shower and fully equipped open kitchen. This area is illuminated by two sumptuous windows that give a touch of uniqueness to the apartment. The second level houses a double bedroom with king size bed whose walls are entirely frescoed and surmounted by a finely decorated wooden coffered ceiling. By far the most romantic apartment, ideal for couples. The idyllic atmosphere of this apartment culminates in the sleeping area thanks to the delicacy of the shades of the frescoed walls and the painted wooden ceilings depicting coats of arms, architectural elements and cherubs.
Splendid classic and antique luxury furnishings combined with contemporary works of art, warmth, color, state-of-the-art technological and domestic equipment, inside a centuries-old dwelling with beamed ceilings, wooden stairs, mezzanines, floors period.
Guests will be welcomed in our boutique, the Wpstore, located in the building next door which in practice is also our reception, where our staff will proceed to register passports before introducing you to the apartment, luggage storage service for arrivals before 'check-in time and for those who want to enjoy the city until the last before departure

Excellent communication from the hosts. Wonderful stay and close to everything!We had a memorable trip and were very comfortable at the loft. Only recommendation is for some directions for use of washer dryer ( for foreigners

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is an adorable space. So charming and quaint, and located close to sites, restaurants, and stores. Very comfortable and spacious - the mattress was heavenly. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked well outfitted. The stairs, which are described in the listing, would not be ideal for older folks, especially the historical flight of stairs in the unit. Street noise can be a little boisterous at night, but closing the shutters and wearing ear plugs did the trick. There is a little bustle here but we’d stay again - it’s worth it for the charming space and great location.

There were unfortunate situations that impeded our stay. The check-in process was, unfortunately, very confusing, and after a nine hour flight and two hour train ride, hard to deal with. Again, unfortunately, when we got there, there was no running water (due to some work being done on the building, we were told), and the flights of stairs to the property and stairs to the master bedroom were, for all intents and purposes, very hard for us to maneuver. We would never have been able to negotiate those stairways numerous times each day. All in all, an unfortunate start to our stay in Italy. We decided not to stay at the property, and, to date, no consideration was given to any sort of partial refund for our inconvenience and disappointment in the property. We ended up at a four-star grand hotel (thank goodness they had a room) and this is what we will do for future stays. No more VRBO for us.
