Prima ontbijt, goede kamer, niets was de eigenaar te veel - hij stond altijd klaar met raad en daad. Prima ligging : vlakbij een zeer leuke wandeling door het domein van de kattevennen, Genk is eveneens te voet bereikbaar, ook in de onmiddellijke omgeving van de fietsknooppunten (fietsen door de heide, over het water, door het water - allen vlot bereikbaar).

Het ontvangst was zeer gastvrij met een gratis drankje dat werd aangeboden, samen met koffie en thee heel de dag door. Dat gaf meteen vanaf het begin een zorgeloze en ontspannen atmosfeer, wat ons zeer kon bekoren. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid voorzien met voor ieder wat wils: ook het versgebakken ei met spek gaf aan dat de gastheer Dennis aandacht en zorgt heeft zijn gasten, net zoals de kamer die tiptop in orde was en voorzien van al het nodige. Wij kunnen dit verblijf ten zeerste aanraden.
Eigenlijk niets dat tegenviel. Een eventuele kleine suggestie zou kunnen zijn om een hor te plaatsen in de ramen tegen de muggen, hoewel we hier helemaal geen last van hebben gehad tijdens ons verblijf. Integendeel, we hebben zeer goed geslapen.
