Easy to reach it. The room was tiny, but enough. Separate toalett and shower. Nice host.

The staff member who checked us in and out was very nice. He printed out a photo of us to give us as a keepsake which was a nice surprise. We were able to keep our luggage after check out and pick it up afterwards. It would have been helpful to know that the door needs a little force to push open, but that was probably just user error haha
I think the place could have been more communicative. Also there's not a lot of space to open up luggage because the tatami area is no luggage, but it's not the end of the world.

L’ingresso e la parte di area comune sembravano un bar in disuso, utilizzati come una sorta di magazzino. Peccato perché avrebbe un buon potenziale.

The administrator messaged us ahead of checking in the Kyoto accommodation fee would be 200 yen per night. Upon arrival they insisted on billing us 300 yen per night and when I showed them the message they sent, they pointed to a sign that shows the fee according to total hotel cost. They did not bother to own up to the miscommunication. Also, they do not respond to any messages on Booking.com. Imagine how anxious we were as travellers trying to get basic info before arriving at our stay but not getting any assistance, unlike at other hotels in Japan. I am disappointed in the lack of communication and ownership from the staff.
