First of all, Max was a fabulous host. He was very prompt to answer any questions asked on VRBO, and gave a thorough tour of his place including recommendations on good restaurants, gelato, etc. Very close to the Vatican and the Metro, which makes it convenient to go just about anywhere in Rome. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Five stars without a doubt - grazie Max!!!!

Max was excellent to deal with. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Location was great near wonderful restaurants and cafes and conveniently close to the Metro and Vatican. Would stay here again!!

After our Rome stay, I can say that Max's star status here in reviews is warranted! Max gave us a very friendly welcome and intro to his place and the neighborhood. It was just what we needed after a long flight! His place is spacious, clean, quiet, and more conveniently located to the Vatican than I had realized. It is more of a residential neighborhood a bit outside city center, which I liked. Make sure to enjoy Millenium gelato! Our only regret is not being able to stay there longer! We would love a repeat visit. Thank you so much, Max!

The highlight of the property was Max himself. He received us in front of the building, helped us with the luggage, explained everything in the apartment. Moreover, he took me for a little walk around the neighborhood, showed me around, and made recommendations for restaurants, the Metro stops, etc. Just all round fantastic guy! Cipro metro station is just a 5 minute walk, and within 7 stops you can be at Termini. The Vatican entrance is a 15 minute walking distance. Check in is usually not until 4 PM but Max was very accommodating for our morning arrival. I don't think this review is a number of stars review but if I could I would give it 5 stars all the way! Thank you Max, you made our stay very pleasant!

This Two Bedroom apartment is very near the Vatican Museum. We found the place well appointed and suitable for what we had planned. If you are looking for a taste of how a regular Roman citizen lives, this apartment is for you. You are within a half mile of two Metro stops and the Vatican Museum. There are plentiful restaurants and shops right along the street. Max is an amazing host and made the check in, check out process very easy. Only a couple of issues - 1) the TV only gets one channel, BBC News, and the walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors talking. Other than that, this is a great spot to stay while you are roaming around Rome.

Max was the ultimate host. He let us in emerald to drop our bags and then gave us a full tour of the neighborhood. He made dinner and gelato recommendations which were excellent! Thanks Max

The location is very good. It is about 5 minutes from the metro and 20 minutes from the Vatican. The flat was spotless and well equipped. Very comfortable beds and everything you needed in the kitchen. Max was an excellent host. On arrival he met us and gave us a guided tour of the local area. He is always at the end of the phone. He stocked the fridge with various drinks which was a good touch. I would strongly recommend this property.

So happy with this rental. The apartment itself is exactly as advertised and is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location is within very easy walking distance of a metro station and situates you in a neighbourhood that is away from the throngs of tourists. There are some great eateries around, including a mouth-watering pastry shop, as well as a supermarket. As great as the rental is, what makes it even better is the host, Max. He goes out of his way to ensure you are comfortable and settled. He met us at the Metro Station, showed us the route to the Vatican, on the walk to the apartment pointed out his recommendations for eateries and other necessities and had some water, pop and juice in the fridge waiting for us. It is evident that he is invested in making sure that you have a great stay and he welcomes and is responsive to any communication from you. Can’t say enough about Max and his rental. Would recommend without hesitation.

Grazie Max! This apartment amazed me before I even arrived. We arrived in Roma on March 2 - Max it's been two weeks ago today that we met at the Cipro Metro station after I called you from Termini Station Max was there waiting for us at the exit. He gave me the run down of the neighborhood. No tourist just locals. The apartment a few meters from Cipro. It was spacious, clean - nothing to complain about. What you see in the photos is what you will receive - nice towels, sheeting, comfortable bedding - and hot water - we really never cooked. Since we always had our breakfast daily fix at the La Sicilian Pasticceria - just a few meters from the apartment entrance. We got a 24 hrs day pass on ATAC that served it's purpose numerous times - very close to the entrance to the Musei Vaticani. Good local food. I was even surprised that two restaurant I visited back in 2008 still around and good times! Check out was easy - Max was very helpful in many ways. Nice apartment with all of the basics and located within a quick walk to the metro. Max is fantastic and was helpful getting us oriented to the neighborhood.

Max messaged me answering all my questions and keeping me informed when the air conditoner needed repairing. It was fixed in time for our visit. The extra toilet wasn't working & had to be repaired which was an inconvenience for 3 days. The location was convenient for visiting the Vatican and close to stores, restaurants, & the Metro. The apartment was comfortable but the couch only seated 2 people. It would also be nice to have a blanket available.

Great location. Close to the Vatican City. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, it was clean, Massimiliano is a super host, very dedicated and helpful. He guided us through the city and recommend some excellent restaurants.

This property in in a great location. The host Max is wonderful and very helpful.

The condo is nice, unfortunately was on the 7 floor and the elevator didn’t work for 3 of our 4 days stay. The owner is very friendly and help us bring the luggage down. Overall it’s a nice budget condo to stay and it’s close to the subway and the Vatican.

Max’s place was very clean and worked great for us! He was a great host in helping us learn about the area as well as provide great recommendations for restaurants and things to see!

If you are there for any length of time there is ample storage for Everyone to have a place to put bathroom “stuff”. Teak shelves, windowsill, cabinet by the sink Great place on the next corner La Siciliana. Pastries, hot food, pizza slices alcohol. It’s great. Grocery within walking distance. Metro stop only five blocks away. Walls are a little thin but all in all it’s a great place. It’s a very old building but Max and group have updated it very nicely. Plus it’s on the 7th floor with elevator and a small balcony.

Apartment was nice, very clean, top floor with 2BR (A/C in both). Very convenient location for metro, local restaurants and grocery stores. Max is helpful and super nice. Our family of four enjoyed very much! This is highly recommended when visiting Rome!

And finally, the location was excellent, in a neighborhood with everything we needed for daily life (and a pharmacy just downstairs!), and (i) easy walking distance to the Metro, (ii) normal walking distance to the Vatican, and (iii) it's Rome, so we walked everywhere anyuway, including Trastevere and the Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps/Via Condotti area.
