La maison traditionnelle tout en bois est magnifique : nous étions une famille de quatre adultes. Tous les équipements sont pratiques, la vaisselle est superbe et la salle de bain est extraordinaire ! Les lits sont très confortables. C’est le logement le plus beau de tous nos séjours au Japon. Un immense merci pour l’accueil chaleureux et pour préserver ce lieu merveilleux. On a adoré. Elle nous manque…
Les futons sont un peu trop durs.

Very nice aesthetic and space for 5 adults and baby. We loved the Japanese bath/shower room with cedar panels and view to garden. Comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. We could walk from Kyoto station with luggage.

The property is old Japan with Tatami, a dining table where you can squat on the floor or put your feet in the holder underneath the table. All wood floors where you are not allowed to walk in with shoes. A beautiful airline and an excellent experience of traditional Japan. Not to fail to mention the peaceful and lovely small Zen garden.
The only thing I didn’t like is it was difficult to find, but with the help of a neighbour managed it. The hostess slowed up soon after and was very helpful.

Spacious, clean, and beautiful house, with all the necessary modern facilities and furnishings.
Really minor details: some doors are harder to open (perhaps to preserve the original design of the house?); location-wise, while Kyoto station, the nearest subway station, and the bus stops are not really far away, the summer heat might make the walks feel longer.
