I was surprised to see the spa tub and bath salts. I liked the easy access with my personal code and the communication of such processes. I liked the snack bar and the made fresh breakfast. The room was very comfortable for someone who sleeps hot. The staff was present in the morning and personable.

OMGosh!! This place harkens back to the OG - Bed and Breakfast!! It was personal, comfortable (like home away from home). Nice touches, generous touches, everything you would need and want for a comfortable stay that feels homey. Nice upgrades as well as historic charm. I will always stay here when visiting Ames.

Clean and comfortable room in a charming historic house. Very short walk to campus and numerous restaurant and bars. Room was a real value compared to local hotels.

Loved breakfast and snacks.
It was freezing in our room. The tv service was awful!! Only streaming which we do not have accounts for so could not watch tv.
