The property owner is what made this stay. He was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel like we could rely on him for anything. He even gave us a discount on the city tax since we need to leave one day early at the last minute.
We weren’t expecting the facilities to be as basic as they were, and that we would have to share the bathroom. Everything was however very clean.

right on the edge of the old town -- a very easy walk to the train station -- wonderful shower -- an amazing view of the Siena Valley -- the family were kind -- kitchen has fridge & stove -- the room is basic, but certainly good enough, since I spent more time "outside" in the town, than 'in' the room
I was kinda disappointed that I couldn't leave my bag there, after checkout & before my train -- so, I simply took an earlier train out of Siena -- soooooo -- if you plan on going for a walk in Siena after you check out, you'll have to think of your luggage.......
