Very clean & cosy guesthouse, with great facilities and a lovely pool.

Amazing host, very clean and a lovely pool round the back. Beaches nearby were picturesque and all the restaurants we went to were quality.

Location isn’t the best as it’s quite far away from the nearest restaurants/ beaches, with hilly walks to get to them.

Fantastic

We love our time staying at Casas Novas guesthouse. The pool area is perfect our room was clean and comfortable! The balcony was a great size also. Good location with about a 15min walk to town and to get to a couple of the beaches we got Ubers which were very reasonable. Overall great stay with a very friendly host who even brought us and the other guests a glass of Prosecco one evening by the pool!

Lovely place

What a beautiful place and friendly host. The location was amazing, Just 15 minutes walk to the city and best beaches in Lagos. Just 2 minutes to the Major supermarket. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice stay with a very friendly and helpful host.

We only stayed for 3 nights at Casas Novas Guesthouse and we were out a lot but there is nothing to complain about and it was a very nice stay. As we did not spend a lot of time at the guesthouse we did not try the pool but it looked nice. The owner is very friendly and willing to help, answared all questions and more than that. The room had balcony where it was nice to have breakfast and sit in the sun. As most guesthouse, it is a room in a big house but it was very nice that they have a small kitchen inside the room, private bathroom and of course the balcony. I would recommend to stay there.

Everything about this place is great, I can only wish to stay there again in my next visit.

Everything about my stay was awesome. Very pleasant room, nicely renovated with everything that’s needed: A very comfortable bed, super clean, amazing terrace, great water pressure in the shower and the location is my favorite in Lagos. Above all the host is genuinely one of the nicest people i met and helping out seems effortless to him.

Fantastic stay

The host Joao was fantastic - really welcoming and informative. Always happtly to help and ensuring we had a good stay. He even greeted us on a unforseen delays with a smile and also some lovely food. The room was a perfect size with excellent kitchenette and fridge. The room had a lovely little terrace with table and chairs. There was access to a pool which was great and quiet / private. The area was quiet and a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend

Nice host

The host was so friendly, you could walk to the city, mart, and the beach, and the surroundings were quiet. The bus stop is also nearby, so going to the suburbs was not a problem. The host always greeted me with a smile and gave me fruit as a gift at the end.

Great room with a cute terrace. The property owner was extremely nice and accommodating. The little pool was nice to sit by as well. Quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend bicycles or scooter if you aren't renting a car as it's a little ways to get around town.

Nice room, welcoming host, cute balcony, free parking just across the street. And the host-J. Carlos, left us fruits in the fridge, which was a nice surprise.

It's not very close to the beaches, you need to go there by car.

JC was very helpful and welcoming. Helped us get around and was always available to help.

Bed sheets, pillow, and towels could improve. Felt low quality and we think they're basic things that should be great.

Carlos was a great host! He made sure that we enjoyed our stay, by bringing us grapes while we stayed at the pool, helping us look for a car and even bringing us to the train station. The entire guesthouse we stayed in was very clean. It was situated about 15minutes walk from the old town, a supermarket was also a 5min walk from the guesthouse. Overall we felt very comfortable at this guesthouse and would definitely recommend.

Lovely mini apartment with nice patio. Juan Csrlo, the host was always available, gave us sun umbrellas and towels for our day on the each and gave us many recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Reallz nice! Would absolutely recomment

A bit close to the road, so in the morning could hear some cars, but with the window close all was good (air conditioning available if needed)

Carlos the owner is an amazing guy. So attentive, and genuine nice person. This formed the perfect base for exploring Lagos and the coastline, a ten minute walk into the town which has a great atmosphere and great food.

Clean, comfortable apartment with a beautiful balcony, turquoise pool and an incredible host.

The incredible host made us feel very welcome in this clean and well equipped apartment. Everything you need is in walking distance - so enjoy all the beautiful beaches. It was our favorite stay during our 14 day trip.

The best host!

We got so lucky to choose this guesthouse for our trip although in the last moment. Juan Carlos is the best host I've ever seen - so cheerful, welcoming and easy to talk with! Leaving feels like you've been to a relative! He offered us some cooled fruits on welcoming and gave us a handful of tips for the neighborhood, town and surroundings! The place itself is amazing as well! Very well maintained with plenty of plants and looks gorgeous! The pool was an excellent choice to spend an afternoon by. The rooms are cozy, clean, very well equipped and have a sweet little balcony. We just couldn't have better time staying in Lagos! Obrigado!

Good location and comfortable accomodation, but can hear guests in other rooms easily.

The room was a suitable size, clean and comfortable. The balcony was a nice space to be in the evening.

Despite there being signs around the building to be quiet between 10pm and 8am, the guests in the room next door were up late smoking and chatting on the shared balcony and up at 6am, again smoking and chatting loudly on balcony. The towels provided smelled of damp. The landlord asked us to check out early so that he could prepare the room for the next guest.

beautiful guesthouse with clean and tidy rooms, the bed was really comfy and a lovely clean bathroom. loved having the outside terrace and the air con was much needed and worked well. the location was perfect - short walk into town and a supermarket only a couple of minutes away. J Carlos was really friendly and accommodating and we would love to return to stay again.

we loved everything about the property! no complaints from us.

What can I say......absolutely perfect!! The guesthouse was 15 mins walk to centre & 20 mins walk to beach. Room was tidy, clean & spacious, with my own private terrace and the pool and surrounding area was the perfect place to cool down after a day in the sun. Joao Carlos was just a fantastic host. Super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

After 35 years of travelling the world and countless stays in all hotel categories imaginable, I never met a host so caring, friendly and authentic like Joao. The place is an island of relaxation, a small villa with only six rooms and a nice refreshing pool, surrounded by apartment blocks in walking distance to the centre of Lagos. My favorite place if I ever come back to Lagos.

Nice stay near to everything.

The appartment was clean, had a nice pool and terrace. Also the host was very helpful. There was plenty of parking right across the road. Everything was near the appartment, a walk or short car ride.

The location was a 10 min walk to the city centre, but we knew that when we booked the place so can’t complain actually. Also the kitchen only has a microwave and not a cooker to actually boil water or something.

João, the host, is the nicest! The place was very clean, you can see it is very well kept. Spacious rooms, cute little private terrasse area. I didn’t use the pool because we went to the beach, but it was also very clean and sunny. Would definitely recommend
