About this condo rental

Nestled in Lisbon, this lovely condo for $216 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The Safe House is located in the Colonial District, in the city center, in a 1940's building, completely renewed. The house itself underwent a large renovation at the end of 2016 and it was our intention to Provide it with all the modern comforts, without compromising its identity, its original trait and the characteristics of the 40's house in Portugal. The sculpted ceilings, doors and portals Were kept intact, as well as some of the furniture from que que period and objects already Belonged to the house. In the living room you can find the safe, Which Gives name to the house and Belonged to the family. Today, it can be used by our guests. The Safe House has three bedrooms at your disposal: the red room with one bunk bed, the blue bedroom with two single beds, Which can be put together or stay separated, and the yellow bedroom with a double bed. It Also Provides a living room with a sofa bed and TV, a fully equipped kitchen, Which has a dishwasher, micro-wave, coffee machine and toaster, a dining room, one bathroom and a toilet. The house has Wi-Fi available for the guests. Location Colonies neighborhood is a typical neighborhood in Which you can find a large variety of commerce, such as grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, laundries, hair salons, antiques stores, and others. As it is located in a very central area of Lisbon, you can easily start discovering the city, by foot or by using public transportation. Public Transportation: The nearest subway station, Angels, is three minutes away; just around the corner you can step on bus number 12, Which takes you to Marques de Pombal / Av Liberdade and five minutes away there is a tram stop, where you can take the emblematic number 28 tram que drives around the older part of Lisbon . By Foot: The historic Bairro da Graça is ten minutes away, Castelo de São Jorge and Alfama district are twenty minutes away and downtown Lisbon is fifteen minutes away. House Rules Our house will be yours, Therefore we ask you to treat it like that. As it is a typical housing building, we kindly ask you to please not make any noise que can bother the neighbors and respect the silence schedule Currently established in Portugal, Which is from ten p. m. until the eight. m. It is forbidden to smoke inside the house! There is a proper smoking place available in the back of house. Please leave the house the way you found it. Guest Interaction We will be available for whatever is needed During your stay. We will be present During check-in, where we will do a brief presentation of the house and the neighborhood, and will answer any questions you may have. At any time, before or During your stay, we will be able to give any information and or help in whatever you may need. Please, do not hesitate to contact us. We will also be present during check-out, if possible. Please note that the EUR 1 city tax per person per night is not included in the total amount and will be paid on the spot. This tax applies to guests over 13 years.

Great Location, Clean and Remodeled Property, with Gracious Hospitality

My wife and I visited Lisbon and found that the Safehouse was an excellent choice for our stay. The owner was very helpful, the property was extremely well located, and the 3 bed unit had everything we needed for a fantastic 4 night stay. The remodeled unit was clean, air conditioning was good, and the bathrooms worked fine for us. The beds were comfortable and the unusual kitchen was sufficient.We were within short walking distance to the Metro, and bus, both of which we used and within a short drive to the Airport (we used Uber). From there, we walked to many of the major sight seeing places and there were plenty of markets close by to enable us to get food.I would recommend this property for those that like to avoid hotels and get most of the comforts of home.

Une belle adresse pour découvrir Lisbonne en famille

Appartement soigné et au calme dans un quartier agréable et en retrait du Centre Ville de Lisbonne mais très proche en métro ou à pied (15mn). Accès très rapide et facile depuis l'aéroport même en métro. A louer de préférence pour 6 personnes (nous étions 8), le canapé du salon n'étant pas un véritable couchage. Proche des commerces utiles pour quelques jours (supermarché, boulangerie, pizzeria, petit café sympa en coin de rue ) . Amélia est d'une extrême gentillesse pour faciliter le séjour et nous renseigner. Elle prend a cœur de soigner ses hôtes à l'arrivée et au départ. Un seul bémol, rajouter des ustensiles pour cuisiner, et éventuellement un petit four, le four micro ondes n'étant pas pratique. Séjour très agréable pour nous tous malgré la pluie qui n'a pas cessé de tomber, et une ville qui mérite qu'on s'y attarde et qu'on y revienne.

What a great experience ! We wanted to visit Lisbon with family and we've chosen Christmas period. We have greatly enjoyed visiting Lisbon that really deserve its reputation. Amélia received us as if we were family. She proposed to cook diner because we have 3 children and we arrived in the evening in the city. She decorated the apartment for the Christmas period, it was so magic: a christmas tree with gifts for us. She gave a lot of advice to us, she find for us a stroller for my 2 years old baby. She prepared and give us some sweets for Christmas. She's done anything to help us to be happy and to enjoy our stay. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. I loved it! It is well located: 20 minutes walk from downtown and district of Alfama. There is a bus station very close to appartment and subway ! Thank you so so much Amélia for this great experience. From our perspective, this has been the best experience for us, mainly since we have been very well welcomed. Kenza, Vincent, Manon, Alexis, Gabriel and Najia

Endroit confortable, charmant et très propre. L'appartement est nouvellement rénové avec goût et les détails de la déco sont calculés et bien choisis. La propriétaire s'occupe vraiment de nous autant avant qu'on arrive qu'une fois en route vers l'aéroport. Elle nous a même envoyé les billets de métro pour éviter la file à l'aéroport. Elle est venu nous chercher au métro et nous avait préparé des gâteries et même un dessert qu'elle avait fait pour notre arrivée. Tout au long de la semaine, nous arrivions et des petites surprises nous attendaient sur la porte. Vraiment, elle est remarquable et géniale. Faut vraiment vivre l'expérience. Merci Amélia pour ton service. Je te donne 7 étoiles sur 5... oui, oui 7 sur 5!

Nous avons passé 3 jours chez Amélia dans la Safe House. Les photos tiennent leurs promesses. La maison est très agréable. On s'y sent comme chez nous. Amélia a décoré sa maison avec goût. Amélia est une hote attentionnée, sympathique, toujours à notre écoute. Nous recommandons vraiment cette maison. Emplacement idéal à 2 min du métro. Commerces à proximité.
