From the winter snow to the gold of autumn - there are not many nicer places to spend .The property has a stunning interior yet full of charm with an array of bedrooms and sleeping possibilities for up to 8 people. Further features include its games room/dining room, two sitting rooms and French doors which lead out onto a garden for guests' personal use. Moreton-in-Marsh, with its broad High Street and range of specialist shops, is an ideal place to shop and browse in the many antique shops. The towns and villages of the Cotswolds are a delight to tour, with stunning countryside in all directions. Burford, has an excellent wildlife park and the pretty town itself is a pleasure to browse around, whilst at Stratford-upon-Avon, daily guided tours are offered to all the places of interest in this World Heritage City of Shakespearian fame. For alternative days out, Oxford is easily accessible, as is Cheltenham. Blenheim Palace is within 10miles. Take a short drive in any direction and you start to discover the beauty of the Cotswolds. Gentle countryside, idyllic villages, busy market towns, simple country pubs, and stylish shops, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. There are wildlife and water parks nearby for entertainment and adventure, and heritage sites, country houses, and classic formal gardens and parks to explore. A beautiful house in a beautiful part of the country. It was a perfect house for a catch-up weekend with friends. Loved sitting in the kitchen chatting at breakfast and chilling out in the evening in one of the two living rooms. Looking forward to booking again in warmer weather so we can enjoy the beautiful garden.

We loved our stay at the Teacher's house. We were a family of 6 touring the Cotswolds from the US. It was the perfect house for our stay. All of the rooms were comfortable and clean. The Teacher's house truly feels like a home.

The house is absolutely stunning and just as advertised, beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Communication with Mary the owner and Rachael the housekeeper was excellent and replied to all of the questions very quickly. When we arrived there was even a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates waiting for us. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Teachers House is very clean, comfortable and well-stocked. The check-in is easy and every aspect of the house is lovely. For us the most stunning feature was the garden and we were lucky enough to be able to use the outside patio table for every meal. There are multiple places to sit outside and inside and they are all comfortable and pleasant. We would all strongly recommend this listing.

The house is a typical cotswold honey coloured cottage. Very well maintained and full of characters. Everything is exactly like the photos. The garden is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect as a base for exploring cotswolds. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

A fantastic property in a beautiful setting, Teacher’s House is superb both inside and out. It provided us with the opportunity to relax and enjoy a wonderful weekend with our friends. All the rooms were excellent and en suites to all bedrooms was very helpful! We could not have enjoyed our stay more, we just wish it had been longer!

Beautiful garden which was perfect for the weather, using the BBQ and games in the garden. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you'd need. Bedrooms varied in size but all beautifully furnished. A lovely quiet and picturesque spot in the village

Seven of us had a marvelous time at the Teachers house. Great spaces, fully equipped kitchen and gorgeous garden. We missed having an easy walk to pubs, groceries or restaurants, but it’s an easy drive to Moreton-in-Marsh, which has everything you need plus a great Tuesday market. Rachel was very responsive and we had great weather!

It is not often that a property exceeds your expectations but The Teachers House is truely impressive. The furnishing , the kitchen equipment, the en suite bedrooms, the beautiful formal lounge with a roaring fire and the lovely garden with its many seating areas and patio with barbecue made for a wonderful few days with the family celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We also made use of the recommended chef to provide an anniversary dinner on the last night. It was all amazing!

Excellent stay at Teachers House. Brilliant communication with owner, everything was as advertised and we all really enjoyed the house. Great location to explore the Cotswolds and we hope to return in the summer so that we can enjoy the immaculate garden too!

Eight of us stayed at the Teacher's House to celebrate 60th and 70th birthdays for two members of our group. The cottage was perfect for us. So beautifully decorated and furnished - everybody was wowed. Great dining space and very well-equipped kitchen. Two lovely lounges including one with a roaring fire. Lovely gardens - we all said that we need to come back in the summer to enjoy them.

The garden is stunning and the quiet village setting provided the ideal get away but with easy access to everything the Cotswolds has to offer. We could not have been happier. Perfect In Every Way
My husband, brother, his spouse and I met in this lovely area of the Cotswolds to have a week of rest, reflecting, reconnecting and see a part of England none of us had seen. To this moment, none of us can describe how truly satisfying our stay was in exceeding those expectations!
Teachers House is charming, comfortable, homey, clean, and offers places for conversation or quiet, indoors and out. We had coffee each morning in the garden with loads of laughs, cocktails in the evening in the back garden enjoying the quiet.
A rainy day found us staying in napping all over the house, then having tea in the drawing room looking out into the garden. We were so happy to take long walks behind the church or through the village.
We took a short jaunt daily to take in sights of the Cotswolds, but still found ourselves wanting to get back to “our” house.
We cooked several meals in the well-stocked kitchen, slept quite soundly in the comfy beds, and appreciated the lovely linens and towels so much.
We hope to return-it brought much joy to us all.

The Teachers House was convenient and comfortable for six adults visiting the Cotswolds. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. We were met by Rachel, the wonderful property manager, who showed us around and introduced us to the house. The kitchen was our main meeting place, but we also thoroughly enjoyed our time on the patio overlooking the perfectly groomed back garden. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with modern appliances. We easily prepared our own dinners without crowding or missing a kitchen gadget. Great Wolford is well located for easy day tours of the highlights of the Cotswolds, and is a beautiful little village in its own right, with a lovely church, fresh air and a rural ambience. We would not hesitate to recommend this house for families or groups of friends looking for a convenient and comfortable (and beautiful!) house to stay in this wonderful part of England.

The house was immaculate and I have to say the best place we have ever stayed in the UK.
Mary was always on hand to help with any recommendations leading up to our trip.
Rachel was lovely and made sure we were very welcomed too.
The Teachers House is a stunning place and we didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be coming back again.

Family gathering
We rented ‘Teachers House’ for our pre-Christmas family gathering 2021 - 3 generations coming from various parts of the country. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The house surpassed all our expectations- gorgeous rooms and decor - enough space for everyone and great rooms to all relax and eat together. Lovely that all bedrooms were en-suite and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with owners was excellent and we loved the welcome gifts and Xmas decorations. We even had snow ! A wonderful stay - can’t recommend highly enough.
