Excellent position - Sulina branch view, peaceful, quiet . A short walk to the main attractions and 45 minutes to the beach - taxis also available. Very nice reception staff.
The amenities are outdated. The windows, balcony and tiles in the bathroom are dirty, stained and have mold - I understand that the moist environment can cause this, but there are various solutions to the mold problem.

Really good hotel-level accommodation in Sulina. Not super cheap, but worth the money. In a very good position directly facing the Sulina channel of Danube. Great breakfast buffet. Nice and really attentive owners, also very helpful to book various trips throughout the Danube delta. The pier is right in front of the building.

The stuff was super friendly, they checked on us, helped us organize tours by boat and we were picked up and left right from the front of the hotel

The overall value for money is not that high. We previously stayed in Sulina at other accommodations similar as quality and much more expensive. Nevertheless, I believe it is the only accommodation in Sulina offering this view on the Danube, so…I guess you really need to pay for that. 😁

nothing in particular.
first of all it is not a Hotel nor a Palace; it is a family-run establishment
or as written on a Romanian site: "rent rooms" (just know it first and don't resort to misunderstanding about the type of location); consequently the services are genuine and disorganized, compared to a Hotel.
the room is not cleaned during the stay and the towels are not replaced (my stay lasted three days); the used shampoo sachets are integrated but dont even collect the empty shampoo sachets.
the breakfast room does not have enough seating to serve customers (see photo) - considering all boat trips start at 09:00 and breakfast starts at 08:00 queuing is a mathematical matter (or you don't have breakfast in hotel)
the numerous people of the manager family dont have a dress code and wander around the tables without a specific purpose and above all without an anti-covid mask (you can see that there are no rules to be observed for the staff).
