Beautiful, well-equipped villa in a superb location

This is a superb villa in an excellent location. The view from the upper terrace is outstanding, especially in the evening. The private pool on the lower terrace is a good size and several pool toys were provided. There is also a nice variety of outside seating on both levels. Our party consisted of two couples and a 3-year old, and the accommodation (two doubles and a bunk room) worked very well for us. It would be possible to have a total of three children at a pinch. There are also three bathrooms, which is great for a large party. Another positive feature was that there was air-conditioning, which was particularly welcome in the bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with a cooker, microwave and dishwasher, and a good selection of cookware and utensils. There was plenty of glassware for drinks, but a minor quibble would be that some nicer wine glasses could be provided. The gas barbecue on the upper terrace was great for outdoor cooking and dining in the summer, but there is also a large table indoors with plenty of seating for when the weather is colder.

The villa is situated at the top of a very steep hill and the building itself is on several levels. The main living quarters are accessed from the parking area up two flights of very steep steps. We managed OK (just!) but we suggest that there should be a warning that the accommodation would not be suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.
